"Hey Alex!" Alex heard a fait voice in the hall way after he left his lesson after the lunch bell went off. He turned his head to flash his pretty multi-coloured eyes in the direction. Daisy always found his eyes amazing she was always lost in them, trying to find out which colour they were.
"Hey."
"Wanna have lunch together?" Her calming voice always made Alex chill out a little bit when he was panicking a little. Which always made him wish he had meet her soon her. He looked at her blankly for a second, replying quietly. He was so confused why she now was suddenly asking to eat lunch together.
"Uh..um...sure?" Her eyes lit up before smiling at him, leading the way down the hall way, through the double doors that lead down the stairs and then to the doors on the right that lead outside, to then cross the school grounds to reach a very, and I mean very busy dinner hall. The dinner hall was almost split in to groups like it was a teen romance movie that began in a school.
They both stood at the entrance of the double glass doors, staring through the glass windows. Daisy knew Alex would be uncomfortable walking through here and feeling the eyes of most of the people in there, especially because he was walking in and about with one of the 'popular girls'. But she couldn't really leave him by himself either because of what happened earlier this morning. She turned to look at him, she saw the expression he was pulling. His eyes small and defeated, his lips quivering a little as his hands tapped at his sides snakingly.
"Hey, Alex where do you normally eat lunch?" Daisy asked flashing her smile at him as she placed her hand on his arm rubbing it a little. Alex's eyes stayed glued into the canteen staring at something. "Wha-" Daisy turned her head and saw the annoying guy she had accounted with Alex. "Alex you good?" She questioned as she turned his body around a little trying to make him snap out of his little...thing.
"Uhh...w-w-we can go into the canteen..." He suddenly said as Daisy shot her eyes up to him as he turned to her, his eyes still looked the same. But his smile was trying to tell Daisy different. She stared at him in silence as she didn't know what that boy meant to him. And she didn't know that she could leave him alone with that prat and he would be okay.
He turned his head away and lightly pushed the door open, letting the noise flood out side. A few people saw him come in. But not the person he wanted too. His eyes stayed glued to the floor since he didn't know or barely like anyone that was rather sat down or stood with their friends. Alex would glance up a few times looking for his crush who had found out the thing he was hiding from everyone. Part of him wanted to die right now but most of him was curios and wanted to know how he found out and if he liked him too. That's why he needed to talk to him and get it out of him.
"Alex..." Daisy watched from a far but not far so if he needed help she could jump right in and help out. She went into the lunch line still looking up and after Alex as he finally reached the person he wanted to talk to. She could see the slight blush on his face as he brought himself together to look up at him.
"Jonathan, can we please have a little talk?" Jonathan turned a little looking slightly down at Alex, making their eye match as they both stared at each other for a few seconds.
"Uh...yeah, thought you weren't gonna talk to me again after you basically ran away from me earlier." A few of his friends let out a slight chuckle as they all had their attention on them two. Daisy could feel her blood boil a little, she didn't want to interrupt what was going on cause something in her told this was important for Alex.
Once she had got her self and Alex a drink she walked over to the group of people getting a few female hatter comments as she arrived.
"Here you go Alex." She handed him the drink seeing a slight note on it.
Don't worry you've got this whatever it is and I'm watching
A little creepy I know but she meant it with her big heart, she sat down with her friends as she flicked her hair and blowing a kiss to one of the girls glaring at her. Then letting out a little giggle, giving Alex a slight boost in my confidence.
Alex grabbed Jonathans arm and began to drag him out of the canteen and to somewhere quitter and calm so they both could hear each other and could get out whatever they had to say.
"Alex, what's wrong?" The confusion hit Jonathan as they both stared at each other not knowing what to do.
"How long have you known that I like you?" Alex just blurted out making Jonathan pull a shocked but kind of knew it was going to happen face.
"Look, Alex I was just teasing you earlier, but your reaction made it clear that you actually like me. I didn't really know anything un-till now of course." Alex could feel the sound drop of his face it almost felt like he was put in a fire and was melting his heart felt like it was in his throat. He didn't want to be here anymore. He couldn't help but let go of the bottle he was holding.
"W-what?" Alex questioned as he couldn't help but want to actually burn alive.
"Well, I didn't know..."
"I just hope this is okay and it doesn't ruin our friendship." Alex jumped in and had to get that off of his chest as he obviously was feeling a little stupid and angry and all emotions you can think of at once.
"Trust me, I won't." Jonathan had a big warming smile on his face, his deeper voice made Alex blush as he looked back up at him with teary eyes. Nodding with Jonathan, Jonathan took the first leave as Alex let his hands flop to his sides letting his body just go lifeless.
