JJ's POV

Well this was kind of expected if you asked me. I put Brooke in bed and she fell asleep so when I came downstairs and found six eyes staring straight at me it was uncomfortable.

"What're you guys staring at?" I said sitting on the counter and pouring some juice. "So I'd like to know why Brooke is so scared of Katherine?" Anayiah asked.

"Because she was kidnapped."

They looked shocked but I had a brief face expression. "How does that not effect you?" Dianne asked. "Cookie has always been the vulnerable one I'm not surprised. She dated the wrong person and she paid the same price any girl would." I said then drinking my drink.

"Have you no shame! Your sister was kidnapped and traumatized and you sit and do nothing." Brooklyn's taste in girls get madder and madder each time.

I pulled out a gun on her. "Listen Anayiah when your put in traumatizing situations yourself then you'll understand." I said. "LIKE WHAT!?" She yelled.

"Amala ran away, we all did. She stripped to make money because she was raped and needed money for her and her child. Brooklyn moved out, when she did she met Katherine thought she fell in love and got raped over and over and almost died."

I put my gun down and sat in silence. "And what about you?" Dianne asked. "I had to save both my sisters and watch them almost die in my hands and now they have to take over the Mafia because I can't."

They looked at me like I was pathetic yeah so much pain. That was the look. "Anayiah when you see Brooklyn in front of you the way she was when I saved her then you can talk shit. But until then don't question me or my family."

I said walking away.

Brooklyn's POV

I can't I just can't-

I go back to being tortured by that- that Demon I just can't I won't make it out alive again. Miracles don't happen twice.

All of a sudden there was a knock on the door and I was scared until I saw my little nephew walk in. "Cookie mama made food I brought it." He said carrying a plate of food.

"And since your name is Brookie I brought you a Brownie." Such a sweet soul his future wife would be lucky to have him. "Thank you Loki, your in your Pjs and I know mommy's busy you wanna watch some power rangers with me?"

He nodded his head and jumped onto the bed. Man he makes me want to have a child one day.

But that day isn't today.

I never eat on the bed so this was a first.

Loki loved power ranger but I never got to watch it as a kid so I was just eating and watching it with him.

Soon enough Loki fell asleep which wasn't a problem since I was battling my eyes to stay awake.

I put my plate on the end table and started to fall asleep then I heard someone walk in the room. It was Anayiah we made I contact but I turned around. Amala came and took Loki and Anayiah climbed into the bed with me.

"Mi amor que te pasa dime." She speaks Spanish damn my weakness. "Nothing now go to sleep or leave."

She then pulled me in closer by the waist. "Dime o no te dejo sola." She said.

I spaced myself away from her not wanting to tell her what's wrong. "hablamos por la mañana vete a dormir." I just wanted to sleep and not thing about anyone or anything it was just stressful.

So then I just drifted into sleep.

Anayiah's POV

I don't like that Brooke won't tell me anything. I couldn't really sleep so I pulled her by her waist again. I'm sure when she wakes up she'll be mad at me for spooning her.

Next thing I know it was 3 AM and I don't know why but I think Brooke was having a nightmare. She was still sleeping but out of nowhere and started saying she needed me. "Baby it's ok. It's ok it's ok I'm here for you. I'm here I'm right here."

I turned her around and pulled her into a hug. She must've woke up because she started whimpering and whispering don't leave me.

She was on top of me her legs around mine and her arms gripping my back. See now usually I'd love to be in this position. But not in this situation.

"Baby I'm here! I'm here I'll never leave you I promise." She cried into my shoulders until she fell asleep 11 minutes later.

They had to do some bad ass shit to break a girl that bad. She's shaking and so scared the only thing I can do is be here for her.

Soon enough I fell asleep. Only to be woken up by a preppy Ravie at 10 AM. "Wake up love birds. Breakfast is on the table."

I didn't want to wake Brooke just yet she had a long night and she was still shaking in my arms. "Can you just bring it up here please." I asked her politely. Then Brooke started to whimper.

Now usually I would be squirming under her right now but I'm just realizing that those whimpers earlier weren't bc I was up against her.

Ravie brought up the food then left locking the door. Then I started to wake up Brooklyn "Baby. Wake up we have breakfast." I shook her gently and she woke up.

"What. What. What."

She woke up scared and surprised like she was on sight ready to prepare for the worst.

"Bubba come on you need to eat something. There's French toast, Nutella and strawberries." I said sitting lifting her up and sitting her down her body against the headboard.

She was completely drained so I had to feed her and I started preparing the bath for her. "Bubba you want me to give you a bath or do you want to take the bath by yourself?"

She was very shy when she put up 1 finger.

So I guess I was gonna give her a bath.

Brooke was very shy with exposing her body to me especially when I had to pick her up and place her in the bath.

"Bubba do you want the bath bomb?" She nodded and I grabbed the bath bomb and dropped it in. She was kinda like a kid when you look at her amazement.

I grabbed a loofa poured some soap on in and started lighting scrubbing her body. When it was time for her to soak she suddenly spoke.

"A-Anayiah will you mind j-joining me!?"
