Julie's POV

What does he mean I'll learn? I guess I'll learn eventually but I just figured out what I can do with my powers. I threw a girl across the cafeteria because she was picking on the disabled kid. No one could prove what happened because there was no cameras and no one touched her. I wanted to break her neck but she looked terrified enough by being slammed up against the cafeteria walls. I guess I can turn it on and off? Maybe? I don't know. I guess I'll learn. Eventually.

"Good morning Julie." 001 said.   "Good morning." I smiled.  God he's so handsome. His icy blue eyes, his blonde hair, and him being about six foot ties it all together perfectly. "Hello? Are you there?" He asked. "I'm sorry what?" I must've zoned out. Was I just daydreaming? "I asked if you were ready for breakfast." He said. Fuck I was daydreaming. "Yeah, sorry my bad I'm still half asleep." I said. "Sure you are." He chuckled. Fuck does he know? Can he see into my mind? No that's crazy. Well Everyone here has powers. Fuckkkkk he must've seen what I was thinking. "Let's go get breakfast." He smiled. I got up and he put his arm on my shoulder. "You're short you know that right?" He said. "I'm not that short I'm five foot four." "Im six feet tall. So yes you're short. Also who told you that five foot four wasn't short?" "Uhh I did?" "That's exactly what I thought."

We got breakfast and I noticed that bruises had formed on my arms. A preteen about thirteen walked past us with his tray and hit my bruise. I winced in pain. "009 what's wrong?" He asked. "He hit my arm." I said while rubbing my arm. "He probably didn't mean to. He's one of the nice kids. Let me look at it." He said gently grabbing my arm. "Ow." I cried. "I know it hurts but I gotta look at it." "Okay." "Julie...." "What? What's wrong?" "These bruises are really bad. You eat, I'll be right back." "001 where are you going?" I asked. "To take care of this." He said. Everyone just looked at me and I continued to eat. I didn't want to make a scene. Or start anything. I didn't even want to be in this fucking lab in the first place. But if I'm being honest with myself, his protectiveness is very attractive.

001's POV

She has bruises all down her arms. Dark purple blueish colors because of the straps on the chair, they tightened them too fucking tight and now she's bruised to fucking hell. "Dr.Brenner!!" "Yes, 001 its a pleasure to see you." "Wish I could say the same." "001 what are you talking about?" "009 has bruises all over her arms because of you and Dr. Owens!!"  "001 calm down. There's no need to yell."  "It is absolutely absurd that you kept making them tighter! Im surprised you didn't break her arms!!" "001 calm down. Before I have to do something I don't want to do."  "Dr.Brenner you know what im capable of. I really don't recommend it." I said. "Alright. We will take care of it." "You're damn right you will take care of it. If you dont... well you know what i can do." And with that I walked away. No one is going to hurt her especially not on her first few days. 

                          Julie/009's POV

He got up so quickly, I could tell he was pissed.
"Hey. Its taken care of."  He came back and sat down next to me. "Whats taken care of." I asked. "Don't worry about it."  He smiled.   "Okay.  I've learned to not ask questions."   I said. "Good girl."

Oh. My.  God. Those two words did something to me. Was this his way of flirting? Calling me 'Good girl.' Nah. It can't be. I'm thinking to much into this. 

"Hey 009 can I come in?" He knocked on my door.  "Yeah!" I yelled.  He walked in and looked me up and down. Oh god don't do this to me.  "Hey Julie, everything should be fine now."  He said. "Should be?" I looked at him concerned.  "Yeah they shouldn't bother you anymore. They knew they shouldn't have kept tightening the straps."  "Okay."  "Also my names Henry. But only call me that when we're alone." He smiled.  "O-okay."  "Good girl." He smirked.

He knows what he's doing to me. Or maybe he doesn't?  I don't know. But Henry is something else......
