"Do it, jump, do it." the voices murmured. "Remember kids the path is down the road not across the street," they joked. I turned not being able to see as something covered my eyes. The feeling kicked in,then I became unable to move because I had become paralyzed. The voices echoed and laughed, making fun of what I had become. The anxiety took over me, and breathing had now become my biggest struggle. I gasped for air struggling to breath as the bodies came closer. Their laughter echoed my mind, their jokes poisoning my thoughts. They pushed me, onto some steps which I could not see. Someone then removed what was blocking my view, allowing me to see what was sanding before me. I turned and saw faces I didn't recognize. They were screaming something I could not make sense of, couldn't comprehend. My ears only heard my heartbeat pounding, and my struggles to breath. I looked down and saw beneath me were moving cars. We were at the top of a building 8 stories high. I looked around and heard their laughter once more. My mind raced and then it clicked. They wanted me to jump off. I turned and then my memory's filled my mind. Painful memories, I wished didn't exist. I'll do it. I will give them what they want, God I think it's what I want. I stood over the edge of the cliff and looked below me. I took a deep breath and jumped. The air around me synced allowing me to fly. I felt free, alive for once. 'Free' I thought as my body hit the ground.
I opened my eyes, screaming in pain. It was just a dream. The same dream I've had for the past few weeks.
