Emma Swan was attracted the darkness, it pulled her in, toyed with her heart before leaving it shattered and broken. She had never been good at expressing her emotions and perhaps that was why she never noticed the emotional manipulation and the mental abuse dancing with the darkness did to her.

Isadora was the epitome of darkness, the girl with the darkest heart of all. A girl who played with people's feelings for fun. It was exactly the type of girl that Emma was blindly attracted to.

Maybe if she had known from the start just exactly who Isadora was, Emma would've been able to save herself years of torment and heartbreak.
