Yeji likes it here. It feels like home seeing her older sister Youngji laying comfortably on her girlfriend's lap watching 'Imagine you and me' for what must be the millionth time. They are the two most important people in her life right now.

It used to be her dad. He died 3 years ago in a workplace accident. Fortunately, the work compensation and insurance payout was enough to cover both the sisters education and cost of living. Unfortunately that event led to them losing their mother too. Who should have been their support and backbone just simply stopped caring. Yeji was only 14 at the time.

Yeji releases a quiet sigh and looks over just in time to see soft eyes gazing at her.

"Everything alright Yeddeong?"

That is Ryujin. Her sister's girlfriend of 3 and a bit years now. They are both almost finishing their final year in Uni while Yeji is about to complete her seniors. Youngji met Ryujin in her first year at Uni on the first day of class. 'It is meant to be' Youngji always said. They've only been on a couple of dates before her dad's terrible accident. Thank goodness for Ryujin though. Yeji can only imagine if Ryujin hadn't chosen to stay by their side that both her and Youngji will become an emotional wreck. Ryujin became their pillar of strength, their unwavering constant. She is the person Yeji trusts the most, sometimes even more than Youngji.

"Yeah, s'good. Umm.. when do you leave?"

Soft eyes creases her forehead presenting a slight frown. She motions Yeji with a tilt of her head, telling her to come sit beside her on the couch. Ryujin places her arm across Yeji's shoulder as she sits over and pulled the younger girl in a half hug. Yeji lays her head on the strong shoulder.

"You mean to military school?"

Yeji nods. She heard the news from Youngji a few days ago. Ryujin has a scholarship grant to a prestigious military school and might be gone for a while. Youngji is not happy about it.

"2 weeks after our graduation. Then off to training school for 2 years."

Ryujin looks down at Youngji noticing her nonchalant expression staring at the TV. Ryujin plays with Youngji's soft brunette hair with one hand while giving a comforting squeeze on Yeji's arm with the other.

"I will miss you so much," whispers Yeji.

"Hey... we can chat all the time, anytime. Before you know it I will be back. You will hardly miss me"

Both sisters let out a sad chuckle knowing how untrue that statement is. They will miss their strong pillar immediately.

Yeji stares blankly at the TV willing her tears not to fall.

Youngji finally turns and tucks her head into Ryujin's stomach. "You can't leave" Youngji sobs into the hem of Ryujin's shirt.

"Baby, I promise we'll talk all the time and I will come back during the breaks. After that we will be together again like always. We will get a little place of our own like we talked about." Ryujin reassures and palms soothing strokes to the back of Youngji's head.

"And Yeji, you are welcome to stay with us if you want."

Yeji can only nod her head against Ryujin's shoulder. This time, a few tears let loose. She is going to miss her best friend.

It is finally the day of graduation. The girls and some of their friends celebrated with a nice dinner and are heading to their usual drinking spot - Grounders club. Yeji is still underage so they sent her back to her dorm first.
