Mark is so goddam fine 😫😫
Mark stood at the front of the class, clasping the bag strap that slung off of his shoulder.
"Good to see you again Mark, please take a seat," Mr. Davidson said, patting Mark on the back as he walked down the aisle.
He looked so different than from Sunday. His black suit was now, instead, replaced by dark blue jeans, a white loose t-shirt and some white and red Jordan's to match his red backpack.
Heejin couldn't keep her eyes off of him, too captivated by how casual and cool he looked that she missed his eyes capturing hers and she froze a little; looking away nonchalantly to cover up her sheepish staring.
The chair scraped slightly behind her as he sat down which cued Mr. Davidson to continue with the lesson.
His words going unknown to the girl as Marks presence became increasingly apparent as he leant forward.
"Hey," he whispered, and she felt the slight air of his breath land on her ear.She didn't look back. "Hey."
"Heejin, right?"
A smile crept on her lips as she turned around slightly to look at him. "Yep. And you're Mark? Are you going to kill me? Y'know, since it's Monday."
His lips tugged up into a smirk and he chuffed.
"No, no. It would be a shame to ruin Mr. Davidson's class." His voice was deep and joyful as he joked. Her smile grew a little bigger, and she cleared her throat to stop herself from laughing, "well that's good to know. I'll make sure to stay clear of you then after class."
She heard Mark chuckle ever so quietly before leaning back in his chair. She tried to force down her smile as she looked towards the teacher to pay attention- all of which lasted a few seconds before she felt Mark lean forward again.
She turned slightly to look at him with his mouth open ready to say something when Mr. Davidson interjected, "Mark, I know I don't need to say pay attention, since you already know this stuff, but please stop distracting Heejin, she needs to know this information."
"Sorry Mr. Davidson, I was just catching her up on what she missed last week and asking if she had read the book," they spoke in perfect English to each other, and Heejin only wished she paid more attention in her old school as she struggled with how fast they were talking.
"How very kind of you Mark, but please save that for after class. Maybe you could help tutor her to get her up to speed," he nodded and smile to Mark.
"What an excellent idea Sir," he said jocundly and Mr. Davidson smiled.
"Okay now back to work, and stop distracting Heejin," he joked and turned back to the board to write something down. The next forty minutes were a drag. With a headache growing behind her temples, her ability to focus on the teacher became increasingly difficult. Her lack of listening in her previous school proved contrite as she lacked the knowledge to understand his words.
