i make my way up to vinnies driveway. i haven't seen him in 3 years and 2 months since his getting together with rhyleigh and me breaking off our friendship.
i knock on the door , anxious and nervous that he won't forgive me. reggie opens the door , gasping and embracing me.
"oh y/n. i missed you so much " he smiles , bear hugging me. maria comes around from the kitchen and reggie places his finger over his lip as maria runs to me.
"i missed you reg. maria !" i say , as she embraces me in tears. we both sob as nate joins the hug , kissing me on my head.
"oh honey come on let's surprise vin. he's been so depressed without you our house has too. i missed you " she says , kissing my head.
"i missed you too , and i missed you nate !" i say , hugging him. "i missed you kiddo " he says , smiling.
i race up the stairs , knocking on vinnies door. "what mom ?" he asks , his voice just making me cry. he just sounds so sad.
he opens the door and gasps. he doesn't think it's real , and i touch his arm.
"hey vin " i say , crying hard. "no way" he whispers , gasping at my touch.
he starts to cry and grabs me by my arm to embrace me. "oh my god " he sobs , falling down on the ground into my arms.
"awe. oh vin " i say , as he cries hard. his sobs connecting , his sharp inhales. he's sobbing and it breaks my heart.
