"Why did we had to come?" Weiss asked with a frown and pretty annoyed tone of voice.
"Because we already had plans to hang out in Vale, and getting our uncle to his apartment will not stop us." Yang said with a smile.
"I get that. The thing I am asking is, why do we have to go with the two of you to the bar?" Weiss said with a frown while Blakde nodded her head besides her. "Blake and I could have gone to a cafe to wait the two."
"We are a team." Ruby cheerfully said. "If we go then we go together... Also the bar serves as a restaurant."
"That's convinient." Blake acknowledged with a nod. "What's the name of the place?"
"Ahnenerbe." Yang said, though she seemed unconvinced of having said it correctly. "Apparently it is new,if the reviews are anything to go by then the food there is delicious. Though they do complain a lot about the waiters and the owner buy hey, that's a risk I'm willing to take."
Team RWBY made their way to the restaurant/bar and as they advanced through the path that the GPS had marked for them they started to notice something, pretty creepy. The more they walked the less people they found, little by little the street was emptying until eventually it was only the four of them there.
"Okay this is starting to look like an horror movie set up." Blake said while looking around the place, she then looked at Yang with a worried expression. "Are you sure that your uncle would come around here?"
"There have been worst places." Yang said said while shrugging her shoulder, but even then she looked a bit on edge about the whole thing. "As long as the booze is goog he will not care."
"Your uncle sounds almost as bad as that unpleasant drunk my sister despises." Weiss said with huff. "The two of them would be sure to be good friends."
"Uncle Qrow has a... problem." Ruby admitted with a grimace. "But he is still reliable when you need him to be, you'll like him once you meet him."
"How do you even know that he was in this bar?" Blake asked Yang as they kept going in their way though now she was not regretting not bringing any kind of weapon to her now, this seems more like a set up for an amabush.
"The owner called." Yang explained with a little smil on her face, even now she did not care about the if this was a trap, she was sure she could handle it. "He somehow unlocked Uncle Qrow's scroll and called mine, he said: 'I don't know what relation you have with the owner of this scroll but he is my bar knocked out.'"
"...And that did not seem even the tinniest bit suspicious" Blake asked with a deadpann expression.
"After the seventh time you get used to it."
After a few more minutes the group of huntresses arrived to the establishment, it looked like any run of the mile café would. The only way to indetify it was the the hanging metal sign reading Ahnenerbe on the front. The first to enter was Yang, then Ruby followed by Blake and Weiss that entered almost at the same time.
"Hello-Nya." A voice said.
Four pair of eyes began to look around. The place was completely empty with the exception of the man behind the counter checking the drinks, a very elegant collection of tables, some decorative plants and a stair that lead to a second second floor.
"Down here." The voice said once again in the same cacophonic voice.
The huntresses looked down at the ground and saw a... child... thing... goblin... cat...
They saw a child thing goblin cat. Which for some reason was making very uncomfortable, it was like the uncanny vally for the faunus.
"Hey there little... lady?" Yang asked in an attempt to identify the creature.
