10 pm. Closing times on Friday for the fun place the two managers worked at, they barely got through the day with a small number of people on shift as is, two ended up walking out due to just being bored leaving Three people left for the closing shifts. Those being Mike, Aaron, and of course Cameron who unfortunately always gets stuck with these two at the end of the day. Mike was in the back finishing up cleaning the game rooms because of all of the trash that was just left on the floor to collect dust, Aaron walked into the room to check on him, being worried about his mental health since lately he just seems super off. “Hey, man are you alright? Do you need any help back here or need to talk at all…I know today was rough on you and us since two people just dipped on us….and uh, don’t worry about writing them up I’ll do that for you so that you don’t have to do extra stuff.” Mike turned around and took a deep breath “oh no I’m alright I’m almost finished up back here, thank you though…”. Aaron signed softly and walked out of the room and went on to the back room to repair some of the machines that randomly just stopped working today. Meanwhile, Cameron being the unlucky of the bunch had to close the kitchen all alone which already has taken a whole hour to do and he was only halfway done, he watched as Aaron came back up to the front of the registers and grabbed some tools, he glanced at Cameron then looked away as he started to walk around to wherever he needed to be. He wondered how long it would be until he caught the two kissing in the backrooms, he wasn’t dumb he knew that the two liked each other they just weren't ever able to get it out, he just rolled his eyes and went back to doing his job waiting to hear banging in the back at any moment. Mike finally finished up the game room and went to go put the cleaning supplies away in the closet, once he finished up that task he decided to go check on what Aaron was doing, it was oddly quiet in there and that's not very like Aaron, he’s always making loud noises when he’s fixing things. He opened the door seeing it was unlocked and found his friend just looking at the machine looking pissed off and confused about how to fix the piece of shit. Mike chuckled “wow, haven’t seen you looking puzzled in a long time, the machine must have messed up your brains this time Aaron.” Aaron rolled his eyes and put the tools down “well to tell you the truth big boy I have no idea what I’m doing, these stupid ass wires aren’t connecting and when I do finally get them to slightly connect this stupid ass machine just won’t turn on.” he threw down the tool in frustration and watched as Mike picked it up laughing at his remarks and the nickname, he then proceeds to fix the machine showing Aaron how to so. About five minutes later the machine turned on and started to light up and make noises again, it was fixed. “Haha! See it wasn't that hard to fix, you just were missing a couple of steps, and that's alright we all get mixed up sometimes” Mike smiled at his buddy and went to pat his back as a sign that it was okay now, that he made it all better. “Oh haha hilarious, thanks but I didn’t need the help I would have figured it out eventually…” It was silent for a second before Aaron cleared his throat and took the tools back and put them back in the toolbox, he turned back around and saw that Mike was about to leave, he quickly grabbed his arm making Mike look at him. “Wait..! um…sorry I wanted to ask you if you were alright, I know some things are going on at home and I know that you don’t wanna get into detail but I just wanted to make sure that you're okay…ya know…I care about you man…like…a lot”. Mike walked a little back into the room closing the door and rubbing the back of his neck, he had a little red on his cheeks from being touched by him “yeah I'm okay I just..needed some time to think and time to cool off ya know...I just um..” He looked right at his lips and then back up to Aaron's eyes not meaning to but he couldn't help it seeing him this close to him was super hot and he didn’t know how to handle it. Aaron noticed right away and waited a moment not sure if what he was about to do is right. He put a hand on Mike's cheek slowly, Mike didn’t stop him making him guess that it was okay to do, he kissed him. Mike was a bit surprised but he did not pull back, he liked it, he wrapped an arm around Mike’s waist softly pulling him closer to him, feeling his chest on his while Arron's other hand was gently rubbing his cheek. "Mm~" Mike accidentally let out a soft noise and pulled away for a quick breath of air, he looked up into Aaron's eyes and shook his head remembering his kids and ex wife, he couldn't do this to his kids, if they found out god who knows what would happen. "I-i can't Aaron I'm sorry." He rushed out the closet door walking past the game room ignoring Cameron the best he could sense he was just waiting at the front counter now about to clock out. "W-wait don't go! Mike.." he quickly followed after him but stopped when he seen Cameron was watching the two, his crush walked out on him right after they kissed, fuck. He couldn't let Mike leave like his ex. There was no fucking way. "Hey uh…boss can I leave now?". Aaron signed and watched Mike walk out the building "yeah Cameron…you can go and clock out.". Cameron nodded and did so then signed "okay, look I don't want to know everything but is something wrong with you and Mike..like the way you guys look at each other says a lot and him walking on you like that while you're trying to follow him…you good dude?". Aaron signed and shook his head clocking out after him "I just…don't wanna be left again…ya know what happened with my ex…how it didn't work out and then now…I dunno..I just…I'm scared Mike won't ever talk to me again..". Cameron nodded with a weird look on his face, he knew damn well what was happening now, those two were in love but their pasts were getting in the way. "Mmk…ummm well I guess just talk it out with him..he's got some kids ya know so…I dunno y'all should be able to fix it…now come on sense your my ride home". He made finger guns and started to walk out, Aaron signed and followed right behind him, hopefully he could do just that.
