A girl with bright orange hair lay down on thestone road. Her body was bloody and badly beaten up. Seorim slowly andpainfully dragged her limp body using her hands and leaned against a rock bythe roadside. It was deep in the night, the moon hung bright up in the sky. Shemight die. She would die. This path was only used from midday to sunset andonly by adventurers. She felt a burning pain inside of her and immediatelythrew up blood. Her vision blurred as she stared up at the starry sky. Warmtears falling down her eyes.
The next time she gained consciousness she could only hear faint voices. Her head was throbbing keeping her from opening her eyes. A slight fear washed over her which soon went away as she felt a hand wrap around her wrist securely. It wasn't tight but it was firm at the same time. Another pair of hands came up to either side of her forehead and added the right amount of pressure causing her to sigh, as her headache slowly subdues. She opened her eyes to come face to face with a few pairs of glowing eyes and blurred faces. 'Werewolves', her mind provides as she calms down knowing her own kind won't kill her. Probably.
For the next few days, she woke up not being able to move or speak due to immense pain. Her werewolf powers kept her from dying and are healing her faster than a normal human would heal. But her caregivers still insisted on her not pushing herself and taking time.
A certain blond-haired and purple-eyed werewolf would fuss around whenever she woke up in his turn. A brown-haired werewolf with red eyes used to sit on a leather sofa on the other side of the room and would tell her to sleep more. A silver-haired, tall, and blue-eyed werewolf would massage her shoulders, arms, and forehead who she recognized as one of them who calmed her down. Another tall and built werewolf with dark blue hair and green eyes would give her a small smile and sit beside her making her feel safe. There were other werewolves as well but she didn't see them as much.
A few days later she was allowed to sit up properly with the four of them in the room. Expectant and concerned eyes followed her every move. Somehow, inside her chest, a warm spark lit up at the genuine concern they had for her and the amount of care she received. She looked tense and hesitated to meet their eyes. The blue-eyed and red-eyed werewolves smiled at her reassuringly. "Thank you," she choked out before bursting out in tears. The warm feeling inside of her grew when the green-eyed werewolf grabbed her wrist and gave her a slight squeeze. She recognized this gesture as well and calmed down. Her tears stopped as she struggled to breathe.
"I'm Geonhak, also known as Leedo," his deep voice and glowing green eyes looked at her with a stern expression with a spark of curiosity. Seorim took a steadying breath to calm her nerves. "I'm Seorim or Onda."
