I hate myself.

I mean yeah sure like everyone says 'but Valeria your gorgeous I wish I looked like you!' or 'I wish I had your body why do you hate it so much?'

I'm so fucking sick of people saying that though. Like just because I may have a good body and a pretty face I can't have insecurity's? Bullshit I say.

"VALERIA GET DOWN HERE" My dad's loud booming voice snaps me out of my thoughts. His accent makes everything sound way worse and scary.

"Coming Papi give me a second!" I yelled back at him. My dad isn't the nicest of people, I mean could you blame him my mom left with all the money we had and the guy she was cheating on my dad with. I understand but that doesn't give him a right to be mean to me.

I picked my backpack of the floor and clutched onto the shoulder straps. Today was going to be a long day I could feel it.

"VALERIA I'M NOT GONNA REPEAT MYSELF" Papi was taking me to school today because my car broke down Wednesday and I won't get it until Saturday.

"Sorry I'm here, I'm here. Thank you for taking me today!" I gave my dad a bright smile but he only scoffed and turned away mutter something along the lines of 'punk ass kid'.

"Let's hurry I need to get to the construction site." I picked up my pace and flopped my butt on his truck seat. He started the car and had an emotionless look on his face, I want to help him so bad but there's nothing I can do.

We pull up to my college and I automatically spot Alice. Alice is my only friend and that's how I love it, she loves it to because we hang out with each other 24/7. She's very clingy.

"Thank you papi. I love you bye-bye." I lean over and give him a peck on his cheek. He only waves me off saying bye then as soon as I step out he drives off.

"THERE'S MY BABY! VAL COME HERE!" I hear Alice shout as she runs up to me and tackles me with a hug.

"Uh yeah I missed you too amor" I say with a chuckle as I'm slowly choked to death by Alice's hug.

"We need to hurry and get to class I can't miss one second of Senor Martins class that man is to fine." She explains as she walks faster.

"Yeah um he's like 40 with two kids and a wife I wouldn't call that 'fine'." She stops in her tracks and I'm pretty sure I saw smoke coming out of her ears.

"Val, baby, munchkin, You have no room to be talking I mean come on remember Tyler? That guy was." She makes a fake throwing up face with her finger in her mouth. "Okay I admit he was pretty bad you got me, tie."

She puts on a winners look as she walks to the class with my hand interlaced with hers.

We make it inside and I walk to my locker and Alice walks to hers, their on different sides of the hallway but we can't even see each other with how many people are in this hallway so I jut turn to my locker and grab all the books that I need out. I check myself in my mirror first and make sure my makeup looks good before I walk anywhere.

When I close my locker something catches my eye, well not something, it's someone. I don't know who it is I just know that their staring pretty intensely at me and it's very uncomfortable. Yet I can't look away, his eyes are so breathtakingly gorgeous they light a fire in my stomach. Plus that jawline is so sharp I'm sure it could cut paper easily. Plus he's wearing a black suit that very nicely tones out his muscles wish I'm sure would look great without the shir-

"VALERIA, Jesus your deaf women did you not hear me?" Alice of course interrupts my great thoughts of that man across the hallway. "Yes Alice I must be deaf to not hear your one voice over the thousands in this hallway." I state only the facts and she glares at me with her middle finger in front of my face. "Let's just hurry and get to class so this day can hurry and start to be over with." Alice grabs my hand and starts walking down the hall. I'm only human and look back to see if the man is still there and much to my dismay he's gone.
