Chapter 8:

Edward

Edward was angry with Bella. Edward saw Rosalie. "What is the matter with you?" Rosalie asks. "Bella and I got into a fight," Edward replied. "What did you do to upset her?" Rosalie asks. "Why do you think I am the one that started the fight?!" Edward asks angrily. "Why were you two fighting about?" Rosalie asks. "I was worried about Carlisle and Bella thought I was being nosey. Bella thinks I have no respect for people's privacy," Edward explained. "I agree with Bella. You are always reading our thoughts. Our thoughts should be private," Rosalie replied. "I do not read people's thoughts on purpose! I cannot help reading people's thoughts!" Edward replied angrily.

"You need to try to help it. There is nothing you can do for Carlisle. Carlisle knows we are there if he needs anything," Rosalie replied. "I cannot stop worrying. Carlisle has been a father, a brother, and a friend to me. I have to do something to help Carlisle," Edward replied. "Can you read his thoughts?" Rosalie asks. "No, he has been blocking his thoughts," Edward replied. Alice came walking into the living room. "What is going on?" Alice asks. "I am worried about Carlisle," Edward replied.

"We need to talk to Carlisle and ask him what's wrong," Alice suggests. They all went to look for Carlisle. Carlisle was outside. "Where is Esme?" Alice asks. "She went shopping," Carlisle replied. "I know something has been bothering you for a while. What is the matter?" Edward asks. "I am afraid you might hate me if I tell you," Carlisle replied sadly. "I would never hate you. Please talk to me!" Edward pleaded. "Thirty years ago, when I was on a business trip, I found myself in bed with a woman named Monica. I do not remember making love to her," Carlisle replied.

Jason walks outside. "I am sorry I did not mean to eavesdrop. I know a witch named Monica. Monica is Loki's lover. Is this the woman you slept with?" Jason asks. "Yes, that is Monica," Carlisle replied. "I think she might have given you a love potion without you knowing," Jason replied. "Monica got pregnant with my son and I have been paying child support," Carlisle replied. "I know. I met your son Andrew. I did know Monica was Andrew's mother, but I did not know who Andrew's father was until now," Jason replied.

Carlisle told Esme about Monica. Esme was not angry with Carlisle. Carlisle was scared that Andrew was angry with him. "I can tell Andrew that you want to meet him," Jason offered. "Thank you," Carlisle replied. "Alice was happy to have another brother. Edward and Bella made up. Renesmee was out with a boy. Edward did not like Renesmee seeing this boy, but Renesmee was an adult. Edward knew that the boy Renesmee was seeing was Loki's nephew.

Jason

Jason went to talk to Andrew. "Your biological dad Carlisle Cullen wants to see you. I know you are angry with him, but you should talk to him," Jason suggests. "I am not angry with him. I would like to meet Carlisle, but I have to meet him at night," Andrew replied. "I will tell him," Jason replied. Jason knew that Andrew was a nightwalker because he has sleeping during the day.
