(Antonella's POV)
The event had started already and the hosts were showing videos of all the players that were here. The last video was Leo. They showed videos from the beginning of his career which was when he was 3 and then up to now. The videos were a bit long and it kind of made me bored.
I looked at Leo and I smiled at him and making him hold my hand. I then looked at Thiago who was basically excited about everything. He smiled throughout the whole thing. He was happy that he saw his favorite players and that he got to meet two of them.
"Okay, the winner of the 2012 Ballon D'Or is...." the host said. It made everyone hold their breaths and become nervous.
"Lionel Messi!" the host said. Leo smiled a little and then he got up from his seat. Thiago and I got up to hug him.
"Felicitaciones (congratulations)" I said kissing his cheek.
"Te amo (I love you)" Leo said instead of saying thank you.
"Good job daddy!" Thiago said as he hugged Leo.
"I love T" Leo said as he hugged him back. Once all the hugging was done, we sat back down and waited to see and hear what Leo would say.
After Leo was up in the podium he shook the host's hand and then placed his award on the podium. "Well, um, I wanna thank my fans and every one who supported me. I wanna thank those who picked me, I'm really grateful" Leo started off with.
"I wanna thank my family. My mother and father, I love you guys. I wanna thank my siblings who are back in Argentina. I want to thank my teammates and my coaches. I also want to thank the most my girlfriend, Antonella Roccuzzo and my son, Thiago" Leo said making me blush a little. I then looked at Thiago who was just smiling.
"Uh, there is two more things I want to do, uh, I want to dedicate this award to my son and to all those children in the world who wants to be a legend. And the second thing is, Antonella can you come up here please" Leo said. I shook my head as I blushed a lot. But I then got up from my seat and went up to Leo.
Leo then got down on one knee making me shocked. "Antonella, you made my career possible and you made me the happiest man alive. I love you and you made all of this happen. Though through all the years I wasn't there with you, I want to complete the final piece of my life. Antonella Roccuzzo, would you marry me?" Leo said as he took out a red small box and then opened it.
I had tears in my eyes and I then looked Thiago who was actually happy. He had a smile on his face looking a lot like Leo. I then faced Leo again and I looked at his eyes.
"Yes. Yes I will!" I said as he put the ring in my finger and then got up and kissed my lips. We heard people cheering and clapping. Which made us kiss more. We then felt someone hug us. It was Thiago.
"Surprise" Leo said as he continued to kiss me.
