01: It's fun to be with you

The infirmary door opened with a screech as a female figure entered

"Excuse me, is ran here?" "Ryoko!"

"Ahh..I knew you were here" Ryoko walked towards ran as he was sat on the bed with a grin

"Like always, sorry for disturbing you" The nurse apologized as ryoko nodded "Some girl was waiting for ran outside" The nurse informed her as ryoko sighed "As expected."

"Come on, let's go to class" Ryoko lightly kicked ran's swinging leg "Okay, up!"

Ran reached for ryoko with both hands as she sighed "You really are-" She grabbed ran and pulled him up roughly as their faces briefly brushed, ryoko's eyes widen and immediately turned her head to avoid an accident.

"Too close!" She pushed ran away, making him laugh as the nurse glared at them both for making noise "Go to class already!"

"You seem to really like the infirmary" Ryoko noticed ran had been frequently visiting the infirmary even if he wasn't actually injured "Because it's cool and quiet" Ran blankly replied as a voices interrupted their conversation "Ran-senpai!"

Girls called out to him from the vending machine while Ran smirked and waved at them, making them extremely flustered and excited

"He waved at us!" "He's so cool!"

Ryoko sighed "Who was that?" She asked "I don't know" Ran shrugged "Why'd you wave at those girls then?" Ryoko asked clearly annoyed "What? Are you jealous?" Ran teased "What? Are you Four?" Ryoko scoffed as ran laughs at her remark

"You get confessed to and you reject them, however this fan service makes you a complete heartthrob" Ryoko rolled her eyes as ran hummed "Rather than calling me a heartthrob, I would say it's just my reflexes" Ran stated making ryoko raise a brow

"Anyways, do you not have a crush? Since you're always on the recieving end" Ryoko asked making ran pause as if he was thinking "I'm not exactly sure, people seem to only like me for my face" Ran said as she only nodded in agreement since she has witnessed his fans first hand since before they were seniors

"It's fun to be with you though, ryoko"

Those words seemed to have an impact on ryoko since she became quiet. Ran wasn't fazed nor flustered about what he said because to him, ryoko was all he could ever need.

"Ahh..I-I see" Ryoko inhaled sharply as she noticed a girl in the corner "A girl is waiting for you" Ryoko pointed to the girl as ran nodded "I'll be back" He walked away, leaving ryoko alone in the hall as she just heaved a dissapointed sigh at his antics "Stupid ran"

Ryoko opened the door in front of her, and getting jumpscared because izana's face was the first thing she saw "AHH???!!! WHAT THE FU-?!" "CALM DOWN!"

"I didn't even try to scare you that much" Izana huffed and pouted "Well, I got scared" Ryoko's brows furrowed and shot izana a glare

"If you don't see ran, you immediately go and run to find him everytime~" Izana teased, noticing ryoko just came back from the infirmary "I just know his pattern of behavior" Ryoko replied as emma entered the conversation "Well, you are his best friend" Emma mentioned as ryoko nodded in agreement.

"A masked prince!" "Huh?"

"His expressions barely change and the girls eat it up" Izana explained as emma nodded "I don't think i've seem him genuinely smile" Emma added as ryoko raised a brow

"He's always been like that though..?"

"Ryoko, let's go play!" Kindergarten ran beamed as he pulled ryoko out of the crowd of girls circling him with hearts in their eyes to go play on the swings together

"Ryoko, let's go get icecream" Elementary ran said as he led ryoko to his bike, while girls watched them behind a tree nearby like creeps

"Ryoko, are you free tomorrow?" Middle schooler ran asked as he walked side by side with ryoko, who was uncomfortable by the fact that girls were following them close by

"I don't see how it's appealing to girls, is it the handsome face?" Izana asked, making Emma exaggeratingly gasp in disbelief "It's everything! Him breathing next to you is something to be proud of!" Emma exclaimed as izana's eyes narrowed "It's good that there aren't any girls around" Emma said as she looked around as if she was trying to find a ran fan girl hiding under the desks

"All he does is sleep and look pretty, I also should remind you.." Ryoko trailed off, making the two sano siblings like at her in anticipation "What?"

"Even if he got himself a girl, I'd still have to take care of him!" Ryoko's eye twitched in annoyance as the siblings chuckled to themselves

"it's fun to be with you though, ryoko"

Ryoko recalled what ran said to her earlier and blushed but it quickly faded when the door suddenly opened "I'm back"

Ran's voice surprised ryoko, making her shoulders tense up as she turned around to looked at him "Hey.."

"Oi ran, I heard you got called out by a girl again" Izana said catching ran's attention "Ahh..yea" Ran replied, rubbing his nape "Izana." Emma hit izana's shoulder as she glared up to him "Ouch!"

"By the way, do you wish to have a girlfriend?" Izana suddenly asked, slightly catching ran off guard and making him think for a second "No,that's why i reject everyone" Ran shrugged "But..even so, why?" Izana questioned him, as ran's lips curved into a small smile

"Because I enjoy being with ryoko"

Ran answered as izana and everyone around looked at them, clearly in shock at what ran had said

"Ran is the kind of person who doesn't particularly wish for a girlfriend!" Ryoko blurted out, trying to ease the tension between her and his fangirls that were in the room

"RYOKO IS HERE, SO I'LL BE OKAY"
