It was a particularly rainy, yucky, day. But Wilbur was okay with that. Ranboo brought alliums with him, and Wilbur brought his guitar with him. Both of the two walked over to Tom Simons's gravestone, engraved on it was "You Are My Sunshine", and Wilbur smiled at that. Wilbur smiled so big. He wonders if Tommy is smiling too. He sat down and started silently plucking, Ranboo cleaned out the stone vase and put the alliums in
"You are my sunshine... My only sunshine" he sniffled.
"You make me happy when skies are grey"
he looked up to the clouds
"You'll never know, dear. How much I love you"
he took a breath
"Please don't take-"
his voice cracked
"-my sunshine away"
"The other night, dear. As I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you In my arms"
Ranboo placed a hand on his shoulder for comfort, Wilbur leaned into the warm touch as if it would never return again.
"When I awoke, dear I was mistaken. So I hung my head and cried
You are my sunshine"
sniffle
"My only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are gray. You'll never know, dear, how much I love you"
He stuttered
"Please don't take, my sunshine away"
He layed in silence, looking at the stone, hoping for a response. But he never got one.
"Happy brother-anniversary, Sunshine"
With the alliums blowing through the wind,
They left.
