As I walked to work from school I felt something behind me, something that was telling me to hurry to go to work. I had to go to work because I needed the money. I planned to get away from my father who with his friends, gets drunk. I feared all the nights that it was time for me to go home, because I knew that if my dad wasn't drunk he would be pissed off at something that had happened that day. He would try to take it out on me or my baby sister, Ruby. By the way my name is LILLIAS. As I was saying I work, well I work at a hospital. When I go to college I'm going to be a doctor, all this inspired by Dr. Carlisle Cullen. Who will always be my hero. Him and I are like best friends we learn a lot of things about one another. I knew that I could hold this secret from him, I just had to other then that I would get hurt even more by father. Today isn't going to be the day. Again I said to myself somewhat convinced. As I walked to the door, out of custom he opened the door but looked hurt.
"Am I fired?"
"No, when were you going to tell me that your father beats you?"
I froze in my tracks.
"How did you find out?"
"That doesn't matter. When were you going to tell me?"
"I didn't know how to."
He looked even more hurt. When he put his hand on my shoulder I flinched in pain. He gave me no choice but to come with him into an examination room for a small examination. He carefully helped me out of my clothes and into a hospital gown. He easily picked me up and gently laid me on the table. As he examined me I started to lose consciousness he saw it and yelled for a nurse to assist him all that I remember is seeing him put the oxygen mask on me just before I passed out. I don't remember anything after that.
