In Every Universe // Bronseele

Chapter Two

  Bronya was a bit confused by Seele's answer, but she didn't question it. She had assumed something bad had happened to her because she ran in so quickly.  She may be in the bathroom for the same reason as Bronya. She ran off from someone and had to find a place to be. Except Bronya is trying to get in contact with someone, and the other girl is trying to stay away from someone.

  Seele was fully hiding in the stall by now, and she couldn't see her, not even her shoes. Bronya had a picture of the girl standing on top of the toilet seat in her mind, so she couldn't help but let out a little laugh from the scene in her imagination. It was even funnier to Bronya that it was probably happening a couple feet away.

  She stepped back away and looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was a bit messed up from her running her hands through it, but at this point she didn't care that much. The small amount of eyeliner she had on her eyes had somehow smudged. That's the result of using cheap eyeliner she found at some store. She made a mental note to order non-smudging eyeliner online. Bronya rubbed her eyes to try to get it off, but it just smeared it across her cheek even more. She let out a sigh of frustration. She shook her head as she picked up her phone.

  She dialed Kiana's number this time. Bronya was fine with waiting in this bathroom until one of them found her, but she didn't know if either of their phones were even on. Maybe they were just waiting until she called Kiana's phone until they would try to find her. Knowing her luck, they probably are messing around with Bronya. 

  The phone rang twice before Kiana picked up. "Bronya?" A slightly confused voice on the other end of the line said. A giggle could be heard from someone farther away from the phone that was somehow picked up by the microphone. Bronya could hear the phone being moved around, probably into Mei's hands.

  "It took you long enough. We knew you would call my phone, so we thought it would be funny to wait until you called Kiana's," Mei giggled before continuing, "But yeah, the car is in the same spot in the lot. We're waiting!" By the time the caller's sentence was finished, the disconnect tone played. Bronya never got the chance to speak at all before they hung up. She rolled her eyes even though nobody could see. She could be in grave danger, but Kiana never let her speak. That's exactly where the idiot in Idiotka came from, never thinking about the important things. She basically dropped her phone back onto the counter.

  She's a bit glad that she got lost in the halls. She figured that she was supposed to take a right instead of a left. Bronya was honestly trying to see if the girls would try to follow her, but they didn't. If the things Principal Theresa wanted to say were that important, she would've made it mandatory to be present. Bronya could probably watch it online, so it doesn't matter anyways.

  Bronya looked back up to herself in the mirror. The door behind her was being opened slowly. Ah right, Seele was still in there. Bronya turned around to look at her coming out. Seele walked out of the stall and pouted. Bronya focused on her shoes though. They fit her outfit surprisingly well.

  Seele had a slightly annoyed look on her face. Bronya could tell it wasn't directed at her though.

  "You're leaving, and Veliona still hasn't come? I was hoping you could make it clear that I wasn't in here," She whined, "Who are you?" Bronya looked up to her eyes and leaned her head to the right a little bit.

  "Oh? I'm Bronya. Do you go to school here?" She asked. The question had come out of nowhere. The conversation was pretty awkward to Bronya, but then again, almost every conversation was awkward with her. This could barely even count as a conversation to most people. Seele smiled a bit and nodded. Her hair bounced as if it were nodding too. Bronya had already noticed that does that a lot when she speaks. Bronya thought it was kind of cute.
