We were eating dinner when the phone went off. My mother got up from the table and picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

She paused a few seconds...presumably while the other person was talking "Yeah, sure, I'll send my daughter Rein over."

I looked up from my plate at my mom as she hung up the phone. Why and where was I needed.

"The orphan girl next door, Teisa, needs her arm stitched up from an accident. And since you have medical experience I thought you should go over."

I stood up and grabbed the first aid kit. Thinking it oddly strange that this was almost exactly happened in Twich. I quickly slipped on my shoes and jacket. I slipped out the door and over to the house next door.

I quickly knocked on the door and waited patiently. In about 30 seconds the door opened and there stood Teisa. She had a large, deep cut in her arm. She quickly but quietly ushered me inside. We sat on the couch and I quickly got to work examining the cut for any glass or anything. I noticed it looked like a knife cut, and a sharp one too.

"How'd you get this?" I asked her.

"Um...," She paused "I was trying to open a package and the knife slipped." I could tell that she was lying through her teeth. I didn't care though. I looked back down at the cut that was still seeping blood. I grabbed a wipe out of the kit and cleaned the cut. I then took out the needle and thread and began to stich the cut. After I finished I cleaned the cuts and looked at her.

" I'll take these out later" I smiled at her. She just looked at me. I packed up the kit and walked over to the door. I looked behind me. She was staring at a rip in the couch. I knew that the cut on her arm was from a knife, maybe just not in the situation that she mentioned. I walked outside and closed the door behind me. I was lost in thought as I walked back over to my house. I defiantly needed to find out what that was about.
