Reasons I Love him

Chapter One

"Are you okay?" Are the first words that are
said to me since I came to Poe High school.

Most people have been quite rude, shoving me into lockers and not apologizing and slamming me into others. I tried to find words as I stuttered "y-yeah thanks, your the first person who's apologized to me." Not only is he the only one that apologized, but he's cute. That's a rare combination. "So I have to go to math, my grade isn't the best but if you need anything I'm Danny" I heard him say something then I saw him walk off and I was confused. I remembered his name, Danny, I like that I said to myself then realized, "Danny wait! I don't know where the office is and I need to finish enrolling, can you show me where it is?"

We start to walk to the office then I realized he doesn't know my name. I say, "by the way, I'm Jessica." As we walked into the office my mind was wandering to all places, to the reasons I left my old school, to why my parents got divorced, and to why I chose to move to Poe County to live with Grandma. If anyone found out I don't know what I would do. I would want my grandma to put me into the private school down the road but they would probably know to and I can't have anyone find out. "Come in" says Principal Davis, it's time for me to step in her office and get my schedule. "Danny you can go back to class now coach wouldn't like you to have to miss practice time because your late to math." Principal Davis seems to know Danny very well. "Now what's your name sweetheart?" She also seems to nice and perky. I have to answer her though I can't be rude to my new principal. "Jessica, Jessica Warner." I said. I got my schedule and I have math first period. With Danny.....
