"Maybe I should call him to make sure he's alright..."

It was currently 3:30 AM, I clenched onto the phone in my hand nervously being worried about Cesar. A few minutes ago, I got a call from him, and it was about his mom who had gotten hurt. He didn't know how his mom got hurt but he said she just screamed and then he found her passed out on the floor. Cesar called me about this as he was heading to the hospital, and I did ask him if he was alright, and he said that he was fine, but his unsteady voice only made me worry more about him.

"No, he's fine I'm just being paranoid"

I said as I calmly reassured myself that Cesar was okay and put my phone away, laying back down on my bed. I stare up at the ceiling looking at nothing as the only thing I have to talk to currently are only my own thoughts that doesn't last very long though when I feel my eyes get heavy and my body resting on the soft fabric on my bed. My thoughts drift away as my mind becomes empty, my eyes closing, and I drift off to sleep...

Suddenly I was abruptly woken up by the sounds of a loud horn and I shot up from what used to be my bed was now a platform of some kind. I held my ears as the noises got louder and the noises of a train approaching was heard. The sound of the horns stopped as the train stopped, I slowly got myself up and looked around, I was inside of some kind of train station, but it was filled with faceless people. This is probably just some kind of weird dream I'm having. When the doors of the train open a person walks out of it and tipped their hat greeting me, it was the Conductor.

"Hello Mark, I hope you got your ticket; you've been invited to a friend's house and they're dying to see you!"

"Wait What?"

I said in confusion after the Conductor tells me that, who invited me to their house?

"Well do you have your ticket for the train? because if not it's alright and we can fix up you one for you"

"What are you talking about"

" ...Oh yes, you're new so you truly wouldn't understand"

I tilted my head in confusion then I see the Conductor pull out a pamphlet and a ticket from their pocket and hand it over to me, I take the items hesitantly putting the ticket in my hoodie pocket.

"Here have this and your ticket. Just open the pamphlet and watch the moving picture for safety, just follow the instructions and you'll be fine"

I stared at them for a second before I diverted my attention to the pamphlet, opening it up to read what it had to tell me. There were some rules about this world the first was to not pick the flowers, no matter how lovely and beautiful they may be. If I picked them, I would never be able to get rid of them. The second rule was if I see a man that resembles a shadow with eyes, I should simply keep walking and not stop to look at him or interact with him. The third rule was if someone offers me tea, I should politely decline their offer and keep walking, and if they start following me just run until you can't see them anymore anything would be better than drinking the tea. This started to worry me more as I read the last rule which is considered the most important. I need to wear a watch at all times since apparently time is very weird here and without the watch time will warp into nothingness and it will eventually become meaningless.

"By the way, one last thing"

I look up at the Conductor to listen to what he has to say.

"Don't trust this dream like feeling Mark."
