Three months. Exactly three months since you've been living with the avengers. You may be thinking, what's the problem about that?

The problem is that they still don't trust you, or your powers. At least not enough. You're a mutant, they don't have any reason to trust you, yeah, but Wanda is one two and they trust her.

You've feeling useless since the day you step a foot in here, they might have save you from HYDRA and the rest but still, they treat you more like a danger than a rescued, even though they have recruited you for you mutant abilities and computer science skills.

Today you're training again, with Peter, he's a great kid, super smart, fantastic even, but he just wasn't up to you. You were more just to be fighting with a kid that just jumps and throws artificial cobwebs. But Captain America was too stubborn and you were grounded, forced to keep your powers down while you train hand to hand.

Peter passed away from you again, doing a backflip to avoid your leg sweep. Impressive or not, you were still bored of the spider boy. The rest of the team was training there, Wanda and Vision in the air, Natasha and Sam were running outside and Captain America was just supervising.

Peter, somehow, ended throwing you to the ground,  you fell dry, the impact of your back against the floor emptied all the air from your lungs and for a second you forgot the stupid "no powers" rule, a wave of your hand and poor Peter flew until he crashed into the concrete wall.

"Y/N Y/L/N!" Captain America shouted and the whole training stopped. All eyes were between you and the spider boy, who was still catching his breath, but so were you. You groaned as the old man approached you.

"Yes, sir?" you were internally fighting the urge of running to your room, but you can't do that here. Not with everyone looking at least.

"What did I tell you about using your powers?"

"That I shouldn't use them." you mocked not looking at him, "he was using his, though."

"Don't start." Steve looked at you disappointed.

"He's faster than me, and more flexible, if he just does backflips and jumps around, what am I learning? This isn't training, for me or him." You crossed your arms to your chest and stood with all your weight on your right feet. Is not like you weren't grateful for all the help, but if you can't even train your powers then at least they could teach you hand-to-hand combat, but with someone who knows.

You saw for the ravish of your eye that Natasha Romanoff, the infamous Black Widow was coming to you two. You feel completely caught in her gaze, unable to look away even if you wanted to. She paralyzed you. Not in a bad way, you weren't scared, you didn't want to disappoint her.

"What's going on in here?" oh, her raspy voice, you could just melt if she talked to you more often.

"Y/L/N was using her powers when I clearly tell her not to." your eyes directed to the old man, who wasn't look old at all. Defiant looks between you two were broke by her voice again.

"Not to contradict you, but I think she has a point." You wanted to thank her, in every way possible "put her with me, you can have Parker," she was talking like you weren't there, but that was the least.

"I don't think she can handle it." you were about to protest but Natasha smirked at you.

"Oh, I think she can handle it."

"Don't make her quit." that was the last for the day. You are going to prove Steve wrong. You're not gonna give up and you're not gonna quit. If Natasha wanted to train you then it must be because she saw something in you.
