SonAmy Boom: My Fault

*Very Short*

"You alright up there, Sonic?" Amy asked as she climbed the walls of the temple pharaohs tomb. "I'm fine Amy!" Sonic called down, creating a echo. As dirt began to shake and fall. "Quiet" Amy spat sternly. "Do you want us to die?" She whispered. "Don't worry Amy. I wouldn't let anything happen to you." He winked and pulled her up. Amy dusted herself off.
"Oooo....look at these hieroglyphics." Amy smiled and walked up. She felt the architecture and the smooth lines from the pictures. "It's about the pharaoh and his daughter." Amy said she squinted her eyes and read the hieroglyphics. "His daughter died at the 3 years old. Her royal guard was a traitor and killed her in her sleep. The pharaoh was devastated. He ordered he die and be buried with his daughter."
Sonic stared at the scribbles on the wall. "I don't know how you can read these things." Sonic said and felt the wall to. "It's easy" Amy smiled; proud that she could do something Sonic couldn't. "Well, what are we looking for exactly again?" Sonic asked suspiciously. "Oh, just Love" Amy said simply. Sonic blushed and took a few steps back. "Wh-What?!" The walls shook again. "Sonic, be quiet. Love is the pharaohs daughters name." Amy told him. Sonic scratched his neck and looked at the ground, embarrassment all over his face.
Amy took a few minutes to read the wall. "Her tomb is the third one to the left. Sonic-"

"No way. I'm not going to look at a dead 3 year old mummified body."

"Just do it and grab the scroll inside. It's worth BIG money."

"You sound like Rouge, ya know?"

"Shut it and grab the scroll" Amy smiled playfully. Sonic smirked and did as asked. "Amy! There's a lot of scrolls in her tomb!! What one do you want me to get?!" Sonic yelled. The wall and ceilings shook and caved in slightly. Amy quickly jumped down to where Sonic was. "Do you want me to die? Be quiet, please." Amy said and grabbed all of the scrolls. The ceiling started to crack and cave in more. "Oh no...we need to get out of here A.S.A.P. !!" Amy yelled and grabbed Sonics arm. Sonic quickly climbed the wall as the tomb filled with dirt. Amy was going a little slow and couldn't grab hold of a ledge.
"AMY!! Reach for my hand!!" Sonic yelled and stretched to get a hold of her. But he was to late. A large rock fell and hit her legs. She screamed as Sonic pulled her up. "Oh...God...m-my legs are...broken" Amy started to cry at the pain. Sonic lifted her up and they quickly ran out.

"So that's what happened. It was...all my fault. If I had just listened to her!" Sonic cried. Tails and Knuckles rubbed his back. "Sonic...don't beat yourself up about it." Tails said to him. "Yeah...could've happened to any-" "but it happened to HER!!" Sonic yelled irritably. Knuckles removed his hand and left the room in fear if making things worse.
"I never wanted her to get hurt. If I hadn't went with her...she'd be okay now. Not in a freaking coma with broken legs!!" Sonic cried. Tails sat beside Sonic. "She'll be fine Sonic. She's not in a coma; she's just really tired." Tails explained to him. Sonic shook his head and hid his face. "It's all my fault, Tails. She almost DIED because of me!" He wept. "Do you know what that would do to me?!" Sonic stared at his hands with a look of horror.
"I'm gonna do whatever she wants from now on. If she wants a date I'll go, if she wants the most expensive jewelry I'll get it, if she wants anything I'll get it." Sonic took a deep shaky breathes in between his examples. "Sonic-" Tails said and put his hand on his shoulder. "Amy's alright. She wouldn't want you to-"

A loud bang on the door was heard and Sonics ears picked up. Sticks walk out and smiled. "She's awake" she said. Sonic ran into Amy's room. His body froze as he saw Amy in bed with casts on her legs. Some blood was on the casts and her arm was bandaged.
"Amy...oh my god... I'm so sorry!!" Sonic cried. He ran to her side and gripped her hand. "Sonic? What are you doing here?" Amy asked as if she had suspected him to not show up. " I-I came to see you. I was so worried and scared! I promise I'll make this up to you!" He said and stared into Amy's eyes while trying not to cry. Only one of her eyes were slightly open. She smiled at Sonic. "You didn't cause this...I yelled too. You...you...*cough* saved-saved me." She said while clutching her bed in pain. "A-Amy? Are you okay?!" Sonic asked worriedly. "what do you need? I'll go get it!!" Sonic said as tears started to stream down his face. "I'm fine...I just need to rest..." She said as her eyes closed. Sonic seemed to relax when he saw her still breathing.
"Don't worry Amy. I'll let you sleep. I'll make sure no one bothers you." Sonic stood up and sat outside the door. Knuckles and Tails approached the door and Sonic blocked them. "She needs to rest. No one sees her until she's awake." Sonic glared at them sternly. "What? You're not seriously taking all that stuff about 'whatever she needs' serious are you?" Tails asked. Sonic narrowed his eyes. "I'm very serious Tails. She needs to sleep." Sonic growled. "Come on" Knuckles said. "She's just as much our friend as yours." He said and poked Sonic in the chest. Sonic eyed Knuckles and he quickly removed his finger. "Everybody just be quiet till she wakes up. Got it?" He said and glared at his friends. They all nodded and took a few steps back.
Sonic stayed beside Amy's door and waited to hear any indication that she'd be up. He waited patiently for 3 hours. (Record breaker for Sonics patient FYI). He slowly opened the door and saw her sitting up sipping tea. Sonic smiled and walked over to her. "Hey...you felling better?" He asked sweetly and grabbed her hand.
Amy blushed and nodded. "Where's the others?" Amy asked him. "I sent them away...they wouldn't let you sleep." Sonic said and glanced at the floor. "Oh...ok then. Could you do me a favor?" Amy asked him. Sonic nodded eagerly. "Could you get Sticks? We need to talk a about some thing's." Amy smiled. Sonic nodded and quickly ran to get Sticks.
