Fall City Jenkins Park Renovation Project
The city mayor announced the city council's intention to remodel Jenkins Park located in the center of the city today.
Mayor Stanley Willis said today, "Per my campaign promise the Fall City City Council and I have taken steps to begin major park renovations for Jenkins Park, Fall City's primary landmark.
This project will restore the natural beauty of our stunning park and allow us to apply some major upgrades including, automated sprinkler systems, brand new bathroom facilities, an updated playground, and a gazebo. This is all made possible through donations from our friends at LifeCell." The mayor announced today that construction is due to be completed by this summer, since his announcement Lifecell trucks have been spotted parked in and around Jenkins Park. Access to the park has been blockaded and closed off to the public for the foreseeable future as work has begun.
While many of Fall city's residents praise the mayor's commitment to the restoration of public spaces, some question the intentions behind the project. "It's just strange that the project's entire cycle has been handed off to LifeCell. I mean, if you look into the mayor's campaign funding Lifecell is listed as the main financial contributor. It's just strange and I question if the intentions of Mayor Willis and LifeCell are for the well-being of the community." Laura Dee, a resident said, voicing her concern during the announcement. "I just think it's dangerous to trust a pharmaceutical company to take on a project centered around landmark restoration.
They're a pharmaceutical company who are both funding and actively participating in the project, why is this not raising more red flags?"
While there are many viewpoints and concerns over the changes coming to our local town one thing is for sure, Fall City is growing at an astounding rate. With the help and generous funding of LifeCell, we are guaranteed to see many updates to our city and only time will tell what these changes will bring.

Cannibal Murders Continue to Terrorize Fall City
The remains of missing Fall City High School student Becky Lynn were found in Jenkins Park at 7:00 by two joggers yesterday morning. Police have descended upon the scene and are actively investigating. When asked if the deceased was the victim of foul play Chief of Police Ken Maxwell refused to comment. Further questioning of whether the victim was linked to the recent rash of cannibal murders revealed little, the Chief remained tight-lipped. What was confirmed is the Chief admitted the bites appeared animal-like and unlikely to be that of a human.
"It is unfortunate what happened to this young lady, however the bites in this case appear to be animal like in nature. Initial findings suggest this is an isolated wild animal attack, perhaps a rabid dog or small animal." If connected, Becky Lynn's death would mark the eighth individual since the murders first began in late May.
What concerns police is the rapid pace of deaths in the past few weeks. "Typically, with serial killers you work on a prolonged timeline. Most serial killers kill over a period of several months, even years. This individual or individuals has killed 2-3 individuals a week which is uncharacteristic of serial killers. The lack of evidence is also astounding, combine that with the fact that we get a new case of cannibalism multiple times a week we have to continually adapt and set up an investigation. During the course of investigations you try to estblish links in order to help catch the killers, however with so many victims in such a short amount of time that becomes difficult to do. By the time you establish a murder as such you have another person getting killed out there."
