Uchu No Boken

Chapter 3- Space investigation

They were going really fast, at one point, they forgot which way they were going, up, down, left, right. They forgot.

They finally arrived at the space station and saw loads of telescopes, control buttons, and other equipment. They all walked out, some excitedly and others more cautiously.

Rose went to the controls and asked for GPS locations for the thing they were supposed to be investigating.

"This is exciting! right, Runa?" asked Taiyo enthusiastically.

"N-not r-really, m-more like s-scary and n-nerve-wracking," Runa replied.

Rose took control of the ship's steering and when she tried to steer it, everyone fell over. Runa fell on top of Taiyo, Crystal fell on top of Tama and Rose ended up falling on Shio.

After a minute of apologizing and Shio being sour about it. they spotted seats for them to sit on while Rose is steering the ship, Rose also had her own seat a the controls, and they sat down and buckled the seatbelts on the seats.

"Shio," Tama said

"Yeah?" She answered, still a little sour about the fall.

"What was your reason to come to Shisutemu?" Tama asked.

"My parents want me to become a great astronaut and to do that I need to know the basics of Astronomy and Astrology, and this school is the best in that field, okay?"

"That sounds interesting, do you want to be an astronaut?" asked Tama, curiously

"Well, my parents are also astronauts and they want me to follow in their footsteps, and frankly, I really want to become a Geologist."

"Haven't you told your parents about it?" Tama questioned

"Since when do I have to tell you everything, this has turned into an interrogation, I'm not telling you any more things about my personal life," Shio remarked, closing that conversation down.

"What about you, Taiyo, Runa, what's your reason to come here?" Tama inquired.

"Runa and I both have aspirations to be great Astronomers, we've always found an interest in the stars, constellations, planets, etc" Taiyo answered, "We both would like to work at NASA if we ever get the chance,"

"That sounds nice," Rose said, after not speaking since apologizing to Shio for falling on her.

"Yeah, great aspirations to have!" Tama added, enthusiastically.

They continued the rest of the journey without talking and finally, they arrived at their destination.

"Koe, how are we supposed to investigate, we don't have space suits," Taiyo asked.

"You actually do have assigned space suits for each and every one of you," Koe replied.

"Wow," All six of them said in awe.

After a few seconds, they put on the space suits and prepared to leave the ship.

"That satellite has been under attack by a mysterious entity, it has some camera on it," Koe explained, "I want you to repair the satellite using the tools in the box by the controls and to take the camera back to the secret room for analysis." Koe explained

"Okay, Rose, Runa, Taiyo, Shio, and Crystal, you start on the reparation first, 'I'll get the camera and bring it here, then I'll join you and finish the reparation," Tana suggested, trying the role of the leader of the operation.

The others agreed, some more reluctantly than others, and the four started repairing the satellite while Tama brought the camera back to the ship. Ten minutes later they finished and they headed back to the ship and closed the door. They headed back to the secret room.
