Y/N L/N, or also known as [Codename], was one of the best soldiers in the Schicksal Anti-Honkai Squad 2. Your teammates Bronya, Timido and Lyle, even tho the squad leader always told you to work more with them you rarely listened to her.
Due to the some problems in the past you wasn't trusting almost anybody expect one person.
One day your squad Leader, Bronya, called you. "Good morning Y/N" she said. "Good morning squad leader" you greeted her.
"I have a important thing to say to you, meet me at this location" she said and sent you the position of a strange place in St. fountain. She hung up and you got prepared to go there.
You got your blade and went there. You saw your friends and a guy that you immediately recognized. It was Adam.
You ran towards him with arms spread open, ready to hug him, you screamed his name, and then you jumped on him.
Tears were flowing from your eyes, he smiled and lifted you face, "Hello, Y/N" he laughed softly.
He wiped off the tears and kissed your cheek. Timido and Bronya watched you two with a shocked look. "They were couple" Lyle simply said.

After setting up the new base you sat down on the sofa that Lyle and Adam brought.
Right in that moment Adam got in the same "room" as you. "How's my love doing" he said with a smile, "pretty well now that you are here" you replied.
He sat next to you and grabbed your hand and intertwining your fingers with his, he then gently ruffled your hair with his free hand.
"How was your time in the squad 3?" You asked, "pretty fun, but after what happened... I miss them" he said with a hint of sadness in his tone.
"The squad leader said they are fine so you shouldn't worry" you smiled at him, he simply nodded and then asked you the same thing.
"I don't really like this work, but its the only thing I can do" you said with a cracky laugh.
You noticed some red marks on his neck, "hey um, what are those..?" You said while indicating it, "oh those, you see I used too much honkai energy to save Mei and Carole, and as a consequence I got these" he explained
"That must hurt.." you said with a worried look, "it's not much don't worry about me" he said trying to reassure you.
You gripped his hand, "you almost died while saving your friends and I was here having fun'" you said while biting your lower lip.
"you should've tell me about that mission, so that I could'e come too and I would've been able to protect you and you wouldn't get-", he interrupted you by kissing you on the lips.
"You talk too much Y/N" he said while breaking the kiss. "You shouldn't worry so much about me, I'm not a baby anymore" he chuckled.
He took you from the hips and put you on his lap, he brushed your hair with his hand.
"Thanks", you said, "hm no problem, love" he replied while chuckling.
