"Beomgyu!" He sighed and put the broom down. He walked into the living room, where his dad was watching a game while lounging on the worn out recliner. Multiple beer cans were littered around him on the floor and on the coffee table. This was not a rare sight. Beomgyu would be cleaning up the house, typically the glass left from the things that his dad broke the night before due to being wasted. While his dad would be drinking, doing drugs, and watching tv. Sometimes he'd be in his room with a hooker off the streets. Though Beomgu did love when his dad finally went to his room so he could at least clean without his dad picking at every little thing he did, him and the hooker made absolutely no attempt to be quiet so it was torture for Beomgyu; either way.

He felt like he got no escape from the life he hated so very much. His only escape was music. He dreamt of being an idol some day but he didn't see that happening anytime soon, or ever.

"What?" Beomgyu asked.

"Get me a beer" He said. Beomgyu scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Don't give me attitude, boy" He got up and stumbled towards him. He grabbed Beomgyu's shirt collar. Beomgyu could smell the alcohol on his breath, which already smelled bad enough. He furrowed his brows as his dad glared at him. "I've had enough of you disobeying me. Get me a beer. Now!!"

"Okay! Fine" Beomgyu pulled his hand off and walked to the kitchen.

"I need you to go get something for me" His dad said, his words slurred. He followed Beomgyu to the kitchen. Beomgyu sighed and grabbed a beer out of the fridge. He walked over to him ad put it down on the counter as he continued sweeping. "Hey!!" Beomgyu flinched and gritted his teeth. "Put the fucking broom down and listen to me!" He yelled. He grabbed the broom and threw it at a mirror, causing it to shatter.

"Stop!" Beomgyu said, his hands shaking. Sometimes he appeared as though he wasn't scared but it was more just a front so his dad wouldn't take advantage of him even more. And even though this happened every single day, he never got used to it. Never got any less scared. He was always in constant fear even if he appeared as though he was happy.

"Don't yell!!" His dad yelled in his face, making his eyes fill with tears. "Go pick up some stuff for me. At the STJ Club" He said. Beomgyu sighed and looked down. "It's a duffle. Tell them you're there for Harley and they'll let you in" He grabbed the beer and shoved Beomgyu before returning to his usual spot in the living room.

Beomgyu sighed and shook his head. "You've got to be kidding me" He mumbled under his breath. Of course he hated doing these drug runs for his dad but he hated it even more when he made Beomgyu go so late at night. They were in the worst part of town, quite possibly the worst part of Korea, so it was really dangerous to go out at night.

He walked to his room and grabbed his jacket and a few other things. He walked back out and got his shoes on. "Be quick or I'll be pissed" His dad said.

"Mhm" Beomgyu left and looked around the hallway. There was a weird man sitting in the corner by the stairs. He sighed, "Great" He got out his pepper spray and held it in one hand while he held a box cutter in the other. He walked over and opened the door, which was quite heavy.

"Need a hand, babe?" The guy asked, smirking. Beomgyu gulped and ignored him as he walked inside. He pulled the door closed and walked down the two flights of stairs. The lobby was always the worst part of the building. There were always multiple people passed out drunk or overdosing. He quickly made his way outside but he didn't let his guard down, not even a little. He started walking down the street, making sure to pay close attention to his surroundings. Soon he got to the club, where there was a long line of people slowly being let inside by about 5 huge body guards. This was a very popular club that was always packed. There were also many well known gangs that hung out here. Definitely not the place for a high schooler like Beomgyu. He stood in line and eventually, after waiting about 20 minutes in line which had barely moved, he decided to go speak to the guard. So he built up the courage and walked up to them.
