The next morning, Jennie awoke to the blinding light of the sun shining through the window. To her surprise, the spot beside her was already empty.

She takes her time getting out of bed because she suddenly recalls what happened the night before...

Last night...it was that night, their physical relationship had technically only reached halfway. But, their hearts were drawn closer together.

Jennie thought Lisa had already left. But...she was actually waiting for her patiently in the living room whilst flipping through some documents.

"I've prepared some new clothes in the bathroom for you. We will leave after you freshen up," Lisa said softly as she casts a quick glance at Jennie.

Jennie couldn't help but let out a sweet chuckle, "You are nothing like how the outside world portrays you."

"How did you think I would be like?" Lisa started to walk slowly over to where Jennie is standing.

"Hmm.." Jennie leans back against the wall behind her, as if she's in deep thought. "A ruler with complete control over the life and death of her artists? A person with no human sense..."

"To other people, I am indeed like that..." Lisa expressed sincerely as she encroaches on Jennie's personal space. They were so close, they could feel each other's breath on their skin, "But you are different...since you are my wife and you are so trusting of me...I will show you my true self. However, Jennie Kim, I must warn you: to me, a lie is a lie. If you betray my trust, I will never forgive you."

Jennie smirked and moved inexorably closer, her nose brushing against Lisa's. "What a coincidence, I am the same, hun..." her gaze then was drawn to Lisa's tempting lips, and she fought the burning urge to kiss her, but the latter beat her to it.

Jennie couldn't help but smile in the midst of the kiss. It's peculiar and incredible how easily they seem to click. She felt a connection with Lisa that she had never felt with anyone else. They seemed to have known each other for a long period of time despite the fact that they had only met recently.

It didn't take her long to become overcome with emotion, so after their mind-blowing kiss, she just hugged Lisa and buried her face in the crook of her neck. "I can't believe we didn't do it last night..."

They decided to take things slowly for the sake of both of them. They didn't want to rush the process. They wanted to get to know each other better before anything else. And Jennie couldn't be happier about it.

Lisa was surprised to learn that it was 'supposedly' Jennie's first, but she felt worse for having misunderstood her. She initially assumed that because Jennie was in the entertainment industry and had previously been in a relationship with Kim Taehyung, it couldn't have been her first time. But it turned out she was mistaken because Jennie admitted and confirmed herself that she had never really engaged in that type of activity before.

That's also the main reason why she tried to restrain her desires. She didn't want Jennie's first time to be a bad experience.

They spent the entire night eating each other's faces. Just kidding. They cuddled while watching a series. And they make out until they pass out. In short, their wedding night was every bit as memorable as they had anticipated.

She felt a vibration on Lisa's neck as she heard the latter chuckle soothingly. "Were you expecting more, hun?" Lisa asks darkly, or more like... teasingly.

She could feel Jennie tensely hugging her between her arms. "Hmm...another cat got your tongue, kitten?" she asked, breaking free from their embrace to examine Jennie's flushed face. She rested her hands on the latter's cheeks. "Let's do it next time..."
