"welcome home Kidd"/ "another not so average day"

Kidds POV:

I sat in the back of the car wondering what my new house would look like. It was a warm sunny day in August,and I was on my way to my new home. For the last few years I have gone from home to home trying to find my forever family but I've had no luck,it's been hell. Going from one place to another without any time to adjust before being sent to the next.

I had gone to live with Ms Emily before, but she's moved since then,but I've been told this times different,this time I'm gonna be living with her for the rest of my life or until I die or until she bored of me and throws me away.

"So are you excited to see your room?"
Mrs Emily asked. I could see her  look at me through the mirror on her wind sheild
"Yeah I guess"
"Ya know I think your really gonna like it,I hope at least it will make you feel comfortable"
I didn't respond,I too lost in thought,as we turned on the street,the sign read
"New port City"
Mrs Emily's house might not have been home,but this city was. I hope to God at least someone of them still live here.

As we pulled into the drive through I could see the house,it wasn't that big but it was nice at least from the outside,I've seen a lot of homes that look nice from the outside but that's only a tactic to make gross foster homes look like good places for children to live. 
Mrs Emily unlocked the car door and opened it for me. I stepped out onto the hot concrete heated up by the sun. Mrs Emily smiled at me,holding out her hand. I didn't really want to hold her hand but I also didn't want her to feel bad,so I regrudenly grabbed her hand. She walked me up to the door letting go of my hand and getting her keys out her pocket,she twisted the key into the lock,putting her weight on the door opening it.

I was surprised to find out that the inside was almost as nice or even nicer than the outside. The walls were almost completely bare seeing as how she had moved here not long ago,she must have been waiting for my arrival.
"Do you want to see your room?"
I nodded.
She grabbed my hand again and led me up the stairs,we stopped at a door at the top of the stairway. She grabbed the door knob and opened the door. The room inside was quite large,the walls were colored baby blue,my favorite color. their were a few boxes of item that I was able to bring with me including my monstermon cards,speaking of monstermon their was a big almost beanbag like stuffed monster on the bed too,it was actually really nice,I've never had a room this nice before.

"So do you like it"
Mrs Emily asked
I jumped,I completely forgot she was their.
"Yeah..thank you"
I replied
"Well I'm glad,I know you just got home but I need to go to the store. You should come with me so you can pick out the food you want"
I was kinda of tired but also kind of hungry,so I wouldn't mind going to the store.
"Yes please".

Lily's POV:

I woke up a little late today,which was unusual for me. I usually get up early because I have to wake up my brother but today I was just so tired for some reason. Every day me,my brother and our best friend,nugget, go and hang out near the old playground at our school. When they tore the school they didn't bother to take down the playground. So we always go to hang out their,hoping one day he'll meet us their but he never does

We always hoped he come back,even after 7 years but we don't really hope for it that much anymore. He was such a intracit part of our lives even if he was only their for a few days. Man...was it only two days,it felt like more. But ether way he was important to us,he helped us so much and we couldn't even thank him to much. I got out of bed and walked down stairs to see my brother,he was eating cereal of course, his favorite.

"Hi Billy"
I pulled out the seat next to him and sat down
"Oh hi sis"
I shock my head
"Don't talk with food in my mouth Billy"
He rolled his eyes at me.
"We're out of milk"
I sighed,I loved Billy to death but he was pretty annoying sometimes. But he was right,their was no milk left.
"I'll go ask dad if I can have money to go to the store"
"Okay"

I shook my head and walked towards dad's office. I usually was the one who went to the store,he's always quite busy,and father was also very busy but he had a lot more free time but today he was at grandmas house. I knocked on the door
"Come in"
I opened the door and walked into his office,he turned off his computer and turned to me.
"What can I do for you lily?"
" I need money to get milk,we're out."
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a 50 dollar bill.
"Here,get you and Billy something too"
He smiled. After he and father got married we have had a lot more money,we even got a nicer house. He owns the monstermon company which is really cool.
"Thanks dad".

I left the room and got my shoes.
"Bye Billy I'll be back"
I called
'oh okay,I won't be here when you get back. I'm gonna go see nugget'
Him and nugget hang out almost 24/7 but I don't mind I'm glad they like each other.
"Okay,say hi to nugget for me!"
I turned away and left.

I walked all the way down the road to the store. The street was very busy at this time of day,I caught something out the corner of my eye,it was Cindy. I looked the other way almost immediately, gosh I hope she didn't see me,that's the one that didnt change was cindys hate.
I finally got to the store. I went to the milk isle and got a thing of milk. Then I grabbed a  mochi thing for Billy and a chocolate bar for me. Eh screw it I think I'll get a bag of nuggets for nugget, hopefully if I hurry i can get home before Billy's leaves. I grabbed them and just as I when up to the register I saw a browned hair Kidd,it took my eyes a second to register who it was but when I did,I almost fell over

"KIDD?!"
