Not once the whole time Neil was away, did I not miss him. But we stayed in touch. He texted me almost everyday, and I got to watch all his games on TV. Just seeing how happy he was doing something he loves. But at the end of the 4 months of absence, I was glad the tournament was finally over. The sun peaking through the curtains, woke me from my light sleep. Even though I had barely shut my eyes, I couldn't have been more energized. It was finally time for Neil to come home. The flight was 16 hours so I still had a long wait. I tried to go about my day, but I didn't get any real work done. I was too busy annoying my co-workers with my constant foot tapping and pen clicking. By the end of the day, I was practically skipping out of my building up the streets of downtown. by the time I arrived home, it was only 6pm. Still 4 more hours. So I made myself dinner and sat down on the couch for a good movie. I was only halfway through when My eyelids started getting really heavy...
