Chapter 22: the corrupted eclipse

"Okay, so what are we going to do to stop king from doing the eclipse?" Daani asked getting Sheepy and hooves out of the cage.

"Am not sure..." Chip replied getting another creature out the cage.

"We are running out of time! We will never make it in time!..." Mox complained.

"Wait- Glim remember what happened when we saw the future?" Hugo asked as an idea had snapped in his mind.

"Yeah? King started the eclipse causing chaos, the guardians plus the guard had the sun and moon causing them to have powers, and defeated king but losing memories at the lost of cost" Glim reminded them again.

"Okay, so I have a plan and y'all are going to have to trust me" Hugo told, the group nodded 'yes' as hugo started to explain the plan he had in mind.

"Finally after all these years I can finally rule over this planet, now where in heck is my staff!?" King ordered as Furren had pushed Krrrack in with the guardian of the suns staff.

"Who are you? Where and what did you do to Master Sohone?" Krrrack asked nervously.

"Oh shut it, your master is gone and am going to be your new master now" King snatched the staff away from Krrrack and slithered away leaving him scared.

"My king, what do we do, now that you have both guardians killed and have both the sun and moon?" Furren bowed in an asking of a question.

"Well, since you both are a good for nothing you both can go on and leave" he replied, leaving Furren in anger.

"We should probably listen to him, he did return us to life...." Anniki suggested leaving the room.

"ARE.YOU.KIDDING ME!? We literally helped him out the whole time and this is how he repays US!?" Furren shouted about to throw a fire ball when he starts feeling his sense tingle.

"You feel that too?" Anniki asked as the other nodded 'yes', both of them went out the door.

'I hope this plan works or else we are all doomed, hopefully they didn't recapture any of the creatures that hooover and Surlock released' as the group was discussing how they were going to do the plan, Hugo was lost in his thoughts.

"Hugo...are you sure this plan of your will work?" Mune asked snapping Hugo out of his thoughts to only face his brother.

"I-...I'm not sure...but my instincts are telling me that it will work, I really do hope it does" Hugo told bowing his head down looking at nothing but dry grass.

"Hey, I can trust you...lets just hope that this will work..." Mune assured Hugo, putting both arms in a crossed way and resting them on the outline of the window with Hugo next to him.

Hugo looked at his brother for a seconded giving him a warm smile until he surrender a bit looking at what seemed to be a scars from the past on his shoulder and waist he looked at it and then to mune who just looked outside feeling a breeze.

"Mune...when were those scars?" Hugo pointed trying not to look or sound worry.

"Hm? Oh! These old things yeah, I fought necross way back when we lost both the sun and moon but hey! It was worth it" Mune explained pointing at his shoulder and looking back at the window.

"And....what about that one? When was that?" he asked pointing his waist

"That.... It was when you're u were corrupted, I can't remember much besides you picking me up like a baby and looking into my eyes with your hallucinations eyes and started to hurt when mom pulled me away from you..." Mune explained looking back at the past for a bit and turned away from it letting his ears go down knowing what happened that day.

"Am sorry, I wasn't strong enough to save you, I wasn't a good brother to you...am sorry" he apologized tearing a bit.

"Hey, it's not your fault, accidents just happen we just never know why" Mune cheered him up while whipping his tears away.

"Okay! We got it hugo! When do we even start?" Gilm shouted as the group continue to discuss.

"Heh, let's go now," Mune told dragging himself away as Hugo stood and looked out one last time and left.

"After years of being made fun of, being cursed, being a good for nothing to everyone, and waiting so long, I finally have what I wanted, the eclipse, oh may the eclipse form!" He shouted holding the glowing staff beyond his head as both the sun and moon started to get together.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE, KING!" Hugo shouted, breathing for air after running for almost a half hour.

"Your Too late, Hugo! It's over! I won" he told holding the staff still as the moon and sun came together.

"NOT FOR LONG!" Captain shouted grabbing King by his and Theas vines as mox launchs spleen to grab the staff of kings hands.

"You lost! King" Sohone told as spleen handed him the staff but heard King giggle.

"What's so funny?" Hugo asked as King laugh a bit more until he stopped and looked at Hugo "You fools think that you beat me? WRONG! You all are too late, the eclipse is finally formed" he pointed out as the group look at the sun and moon and saw that both light had finally formed, the moon turn into a blood red and the other turned into a pitch black with a white out line causing the two guardians to get down on there knees while also trying to stand.

"Sohone? Mune? What happening to you guys?" Gilm asked checking on the two, only seeing the two get sleepy.

"Their not okay they're getting weak, if the guardians didnt form an eclipse but the corrupted person, they get weak and tired (like right now) causing the corrupted person to get stronger and more powerful and if the eclipse is still being formed they could end up getting corrupted" Chip explained flipping through the pages of his book.

"That's right, by the time they start forming I will be unstoppable" king shouted as his eyes started to turned from white and red to red and yellow, breaking from the vines and snatching his staff back.

"We have to get the sun and moon away from each other in order to stop them from getting corrupted" Chip shut the book and started to run up to the suns chains but was pulled away by None other then Furren.

"What do you think your doing? Anniki you know what to do" Furren threw Chip to Anniki who had mind controlled Chip making him turn against his friends.

"He's so easy to control, isn't that right chip?" Anniki asked wrapping his arms around Chip "Yes, Master Anniki, at your orders sir" Chip replied as the group watched in horror as their friend as no long himself.

"You know, Chip here isn't the only one being controlled right now" Anniki smirked as glim, hugo, oreegon, Koda, captain, Krrrack and both guardians looked up in confusing.

"What do you mean? It's just you three and chip and there's a whole group here" Captain told as could only glare at him.

"Oh? Are you sure about that? Cause I see nothing but the 9 of you, where's the rest of your group?" Current pointed out as the group looked around seeing that a few members where gone.

"What did you do? WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR FRIENDS!" Hugo shouted in anger.

"Oh my, did you not see? There right here~" Anniki smiled as the rest of the missing group was shown at both sides of him reveling that they had been mind controlled by Anniki.

"Your plan didn't work out hugo, your brother is suffering because of you!Everyone lost because of you! You know it's the truth" Furren smiled seeing fear and sadness in his face.

"We lost...its my fault..." Hugo whispered under his breath keeping his fear and sadness from showing as also keeping company to his brother as he is watching the whole thing.
