STEPHEN POV

With being a leader, comes it's responsibilities. I can no longer sleep in when I want to, or stay up late, even though with all the work I end up doing it anyways. Everyone comes to me for every decision, and I get no alone or free time. Well, I don't like being alone anyways, but people always coming to me for every single question can get annoying. I'm starting to question why I was so excited for this position knowing what comes with it. On rare occasions though, I can get my mom to step in so me and Oliver can have some alone time.

OLIVER POV

Stephen said that tonight he has some time off to hang with me. I want tonight to be special so I set the mood. Dim candle lighting, rose petals, and some jazz. I don't like it that much, but Stephen seems to enjoy it. "Oh, wow. All this for me?" He says. "You don't get many nights off so I have to make this one special" I said. "Well then, shall we?" I give him my hand and I let him take the lead. We start with some slow dancing, and he unexpectedly spun me around. "Ok Mr. Gentlemen." He snickered at that. "You know we could make this more fun?" "How?" He then pulled me onto the bed a gave me a serious look. "I know we've only been together a couple months, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you." "Will you make we the happiest wolf alive and marry me?" I was touched, but very shocked. "I don't know if I can yes to that right now." He ran off, but I went after him. "Hey wait!" "What do you mean, your supposed to be my mate!" Stephen said that with tears and anger in his eyes. "What, does that mean I'm supposed to say yes?!" "Well I would think my only bestfriend and boyfriend would say yes!" "Look, I'm sorry. It wasn't a no, just a not now." I ran and gave him a hug. He was reluctant at first, but he eventually embraced it. He calmed down and went back to the room with me." "I'm just not ready." "Ok. I'm sorry for overreacting. When I look into your eyes, I can't see anything else but love, and I wanted to express that." "You know I love you too. I can't look in your eyes without getting lost in them. I love you more than anything else, Stephen." He then smashed his lips onto mine, and I kissed back. He began peppering kisses down my neck, and when he hit a certain spot, I felt so many sparks I got weak in the knees. "Mark me." "Are you sure, we can take this slow if you wan-" "Mark me, Alpha." There was a quick sharp pain, then intense pleasure. I began to feel very tired. When Stephen noticed, he laid me down then got in behind me. I fell asleep in his arms.
