Heat

A few months have passed since the holiday party and both GAU and Bringston are out for the summer. Spencer is parked outside of Grace and D'Angelo's Oakland home where Dillon makes his way outside. Dillon hops in Spencer's new car throwing his bag in the backseat. "Ready for a beach house summer?" Spencer asks his happy brother. "Oh I'm more than ready." "Be good! BOTH of you!" Grace shouts from the door. "We will!" The brothers simultaneously shout back. Spencer starts the car up and pulls off as Grace blows a kiss to her sons.

After a not so short drive Spencer and Dillon have finally arrived to the infamous beach house. They enter with bags in hand to see Jordan asleep on the couch. The two put the bags down and give each other a "let's mess with him" look. Within seconds they shout "Rise and shine!" causing Jordan to fall off the couch as Dillon and Spencer laugh. "Really?" Jordan says getting off the floor.

"So it's just the three of us this summer?" Dillon says looking around at the usually full beach house. "Yep. Asher is on a cruise with Jaymee and JJ is in Miami." Spencer says but is meant with a look from Jordan. "What is it?" Before Jordan can respond to Spencer, Liv enters the house with her suitcase but is surprised to see Spencer just as much as he his to see her. Before the two can say anything Simone walks in behind Liv catching Jordan by surprise. "Oh shit." Dillon says and is immediately hit with a look from Spencer causing him to back away from the group of 4.

"What are you doing here?" Jordan and Spencer say in unison. "Well with Layla, Coop and Patience out on tour I was gonna be alone in the house so I asked Jordan if I could come stay here then Simone said she was coming to town and didn't wanna stay with her parent and well here we are." Simone nods with an awkward smile. "Can we get some help with these bags?" Simone says. The boys grab the bags and everyone heads upstairs. "It's gonna be a long summer." Dillon says making his way to the couch.

Upstairs Spencer is putting Liv's bags on the bed. She looks over at him and eventually he looks back. "I didn't mean to pop up. Jordan failed to mention you were staying in LA for the summer." She says walking over to him. "It's cool." Liv nods and before she can walk away Spencer pulls her back to him in a way that's familiar to previous encounters. "About that bonfire last week-" Liv thinks back and remembers her and Spencer's clothes falling to the sand but she's almost instantly snapped back to the present.

"We don't have to talk about that. It was a temporary moment that we both agreed wasn't right." She says as they look into each other's eyes. The look lasts for a while before Spencer clears his throat and Liv steps back. "Yeah... you're right. I'm gonna go see what Dillon is up to." Spencer exits the room and Liv shuts the door behind him and takes a deep breath.

Meanwhile, Jordan is helping Simone unpack. "You know I could've done this myself right?" Simone says as Jordan puts her perfume on the dresser. "It's fine. I wanna help." Simone smiles at him. "Wanna talk about the holiday p-" Before Jordan can finish his sentence his phone rings. "One second." He exits the room. "Hey Layla." He says in a bit of an awkward tone. "We made it to the first stop. You know what I'm gonna just get to the reason I called. Last night we left things kinda in a weird place but after tour I'll have an answer to your question." "Um I-" "I'll call you back Patience needs help with something. Layla says before Jordan can finish and she hangs up.

Jordan heads back into the room to see Simone sitting on the bed texting. "I can do the rest myself. I'm gonna go talk to Liv." Simone says looking up from her phone. "Um... ok." Jordan nods and walks out the room as Simone follows  and enters Liv's room shutting the door. Spencer walks up behind Jordan. "Why didn't you tell me Liv was gonna be here this summer?" Jordan scratches his head and Spencer awaits an answer. "It never came up? Listen it shouldn't be too bad. Maybe you both need the time to get back into things." "Are you talking about me and Liv or you and Simone?"  Spencer's question catches Jordan off guard but before he can answer Dillon meets them.

"Can we go to a store? Y'all have the weakest snack game in the city." Dillon says as Spencer and Jordan give him look. "First of all we're all athletes and second of all you don't need all that sugar." Spencer says folding his arms. "Please?" Dillon says with a smile. Spencer gives his brother an annoyed look. "Come on." Dillon runs toward the door as Spencer follows.

Jordan looks toward Liv's door and hears little pieces of her and Simone's conversation. He leans his ear to the door to get a better listen.

"A whole summer with our exes. I don't know Liv maybe I should go stay with my parents." Jordan gets a little disappointed at Simone's words. "No. We can handle this. At least I hope we can. But for now let's head to the beach." Jordan jumps away from the door as Liv opens it seeing him almost fall down the steps. "You
okay?" "Yep" he says limping the rest of the way down.

Meanwhile at the store Dillon is raiding the snack aisle and Spencer glances at the candy and lets out a soft smile.

Flashback.

"What's the best candy?" Olivia asks Spencer who's pushing the cart. "Candy corn easily." Spencer says causing Olivia to stop in her tracks and give him a look. "Why'd you stop walking?" Spencer asks turning toward her. "Because you just disrespected all of the other amazing candies to ever exist." "Candy corn is superior that's not my fault." Olivia's jaw drops and Spencer starts to laugh. "Oh you think it's funny?" "You still love me though." Spencer leans in for a kiss but Liv pushes him away. She laughs as he chases her around the aisle. He eventually gets to her and they kiss leaning against the stack of candy.

Present.

"I'm ready." Dillon says snapping Spencer out of the memory. "Let's go." Spencer responds as they walk toward the register.

Back at the house Jordan is sitting on the couch when he hears a knock at the door. Jordan opens the door to see none other than Cam, Keisha and... Damon.
