The next few days Hyunjin went to drop Hyeon at kindergarten, hoping to see the blonde male only to be faced with disappointment.
“I’m Kim Seungmin, a substitute teacher. Mr. Lee took leave for a few days.”
He only got this reply.
It’s already been weeks. The blonde male, even after returning from his break, now is completely avoiding Hyunjin.
Hyunjin was a mess. He wasn’t able to focus on his work, being too strict with his employees and even screaming at Bang Chan. The latter took it lightly, deciding to give the younger some time, but things were getting out of hand.
“Hwang Hyunjin! Are you fucking alive or not!?”
Bang Chan screamed, as stormed inside Hyunjin’s office.
“What happened hyung?”
Hyunjin asked,a bored look on his face.
“Why didn’t you attend the meeting yesterday? You know how important that meeting was, right?”
“I wasn’t in the mood.”
“Well, because of your mood, Hwang Hyunjin, we lost a deal of $50million. Congratulations!!”
Bang Chan sarcastically claps, but stops when he looks at Hyunjin, who seems like he doesn’t care at all.
“Listen Hwang, I don’t care what you’re doing to yourself, but you have a daughter for fucks sake and if you fall apart like this, think about what will happen to her!”
Finally Hyunjin looks towards Bang Chan, eyes filled with tears.
“What do I do Hyung? How do I fix things? He isn’t even talking to me!”
Hyunjin’s strong demeanour broke down as he kept weeping. Bang Chan let go of his anger and hugged the younger.
“Five years Hyung… How do I make him believe that I never gave up on him? And… and what actually happened.”
“Listen Hyunjin, you need to explain to him, pull yourself together just like you did all those years, for Hyeon atleast.”
Hyunjin upon hearing his daughter’s name, wiped away his tears and nodded. He gotta be strong, for his daughter.
“Minho and Jisung are holding a party at the beginning of the next month, and I’m pretty sure Felix will be invited. Atleast explain everything to him, later its his choice.”
“But… What.. What if he refuses to attend the party?”
“That hyung, you don't have to worry… I'll handle that.”
A voice came, as two men entered the office.
“Jeongin? When did you come back? And Changbin, what are you doing with him?”
Bang Chan asked.
Jeongin, Yang Jeongin, cousin of Hyunjin and also a last year college student. He went to study in the USA, and finally returned after three years.
Both Hyunjin and Bang Chan were confused upon seeing the youngest of them all.
“Oh! Hey babe… I went to pick him up as he called me saying that he’s in Seoul.”
Chanbin said, hugging Bang Chan, his husband.
Seo Changbin is Bang Chan’s husband, married for almost three years. He is a producer in an entertainment company.
“Hey Hyungs! How are y’all?”
Jeongin asked.
“When did you come back from the USA?”
Hyunjin asked.
“I came back today for Jisung Hyung and Minho Hyung’s wedding. I wanted to surprise you all and Changbin Hyung on the way told me everything. I’ll convince lix hyung for the party. Just get your confession ready.”
Jeongin said with a smile. And it’s true, Felix can never refuse Jeongin, not when he came back after so long.
