the mysteries within the forest (a nightmare before christmas story)

Chapter 2:This is Halloween

At last everyone had left the room (or more like, the curious men were pushed out by a calm yet a bit irritated Sally) ,I was left alone to rest, so I decided to take the opportunity. When I opened my eyes I see a young man staring straight at me with pale skin and piercing blue eyes, I jumped and so did the he. "So it was a boy...were you the one who saved me?". The boy opened his mouth, but just then, Sally opened the door and the boy ran out the window. I extended my arm to grab him but I couldn't.
"Are you ok miss Charlotte?" Asked Sally
" I saw him, the ghost who saved me, he approached me..." I told her.
" Are you sure I can't take a look at her brain" asked Finkelstein as he got closer to me, only to be stopped by Sally. "Well I don't know many people in town so I suggest you talk to Jack since he knows everyone" I agreed and she called Jack.
Later Jack came and we all sat down "Well Miss Charlotte, what does your mystery ghost look like."
" Well, as you said, he is a ghost so he is as white as Zero, he has long hair, covered the back of his neck and one of his eyes was covered by his hair. His eyes are light blue, a gentle and a bit saddened look..."
" Oh look now she is creating fictional characters whats next fan fictions about this guy! Now can I check her brain" asked the doctor, just to be ignored.
"Well I've never heard of such ghost, but maybe someone in town can help you. I'll show you around if you want." I look a bit concerned, I don't really trust this skeleton man. "Oh please don't worry" said Sally "Jack is quite the gentleman and will never hurt a fly...well maybe Santa but that was by mistake...long story..." Still a bit concerned I accept the offer and Jack and me head to Halloween town.

When we arrive we go around asking for my ghost that I longed to thank. As we walk I met new monsters and witches that if I Jack wasn't with me I'd probably be scared to death. Yet, even though they where scary and dark monsters and the city was full of tombs, in that town it was actually quite cheerful and friendly.
Then suddenly I see a white figure as I walk, Because I was distracted I bumped into someone "oh sorry..." I start saying when I noticed it was the zombie with the axe on his head and couldn't help but freak out. "Miss Charlotte whats wrong?!" Asked a worried Jack. I run to Jack and hide behind him " Him! Him! I was running from him when I slipped and fell!"
"Who? Behemoth? He wouldn't hurt a fly. In fact I think he was more scared of your screams, which I'm starting to think its your first language, than you of him." Jack teased me and I calmed down and apologized to the zombie whom, later on I found to be quite nice.

Later Jack took me to meet the other vampires and I was quite surprise at the fact that there was no female vampire around here so I asked "Um excuse me but where are the female vampires"
"Well you see we have never seen a female vampire before but I can see that they are certainly of our liking" I start getting an urge that I definitely don't wanna be around this guys alone and I think Jack realized how uncomfortable I was and said "Well I think its time we get going. We should go check with the ghosts now"
"Wait, if you need a place to stay our doors are always opened" said the strange vampire "Um. I think I'm fine at Sally's for now." I said and we both left to the Ghosts residence.
"Every ghost in halloween town lives or has at least once passed here and not to mention ghosts have great memories and remember every face and name" says Jack and we enter. "Ah! If it isn't the pumpkin king!" Says a ghost lady "In the bone" replies Jack "And what brings you to our fine home sir?" Jack looks at me and I speak "We are looking for a ghost-boy: light blue eyes, black long hair, slim...?"
"Well ma'am if I were to see a ghost like that I would definitely not forget, but your description of a ghost isn't exactly typical. See us ghost have white hair and black eyes. All of us are like that...in other words Im afraid I haven't seen him ma'am." I can't believe it, not even in the place where all ghost live? I start considering that brain when suddenly I see him again hiding on top of a building. While Jack is busy I sneak out and head to where my ghost is. But, the doors are closed and there are no stairs to climb to the top. Desperate I stupidly start jumping to get to him and all of a sudden I realize I start flying; and not only that but Im a bat! I flew up the building and I finally get to him and I turn back (Im guessing I ran out of stamina) and while panting I ask "Who are you...?"
----------------------------------------------So I end it here sorry not much of action again but I assure you it'll get more interesting by the next chapter. Anyways I hope you enjoy!
