(not my art, something I found online)

I am a squirrel.

I like running across the unnatural rock to the other trees.

I also love the walnuts that they have here. Amazing.

But recently there's been this... lady squirrel. She's been in my territory and even dared coming to my tree once. I angrily chittered at her until she left, I feel like I did something wrong, but I don't know why.

It's another day and I've been seeing that girl around more then usual, I don't even know if she has a home anywhere near.

I also saw her stealing from my land. My land.

I decided to go to the other side of the big rock again today and saw her there as well, but she went up a tree I've never went to before, curious I decided to go and check it out.

It turned out that's where she lived, as soon as I took a look inside the hole I found, she was yelling at me to leave and so I did.

I suppose I understand why she was stealing from my land now, since I was stealing from hers.

I feel bad about this now and left without taking any of the nuts.

It is the next day and I have decided to leave some of my walnuts near her tree as an offering for forgiveness.

After a day of walnut gathering, I notice how cold the air is and I hope that I have enough for the winter.

It is the next day and I woke up to a surprise.

The girl squirrel had left some acorns by my tree.

I am glad she is my neighbor.

Tell me if you'd like more of these, I love squirrels so I'm still gonna make more but eh.
