**September 12th 2022**
Sofia's pov:
*beep**beep**beep*
I quickly shot out of bed and looked at the time '7:30AM' shit shit shit I'm so doomed I'm 30 minutes late I quickly ran into the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face then I went and put on one of the very little amount of hoodies I mean I did only get 4 anyway I quickly slipped on the outfit and rushed downstairs to make breakfast for my mom and stepdad the smell of alcohol and drugs quickly invaded my nose I run into the kitchen only to find them there..
"I- im sorry" I said by step dad got up walking towards me making me back up he kept waking towards me I went to step back only to hit the wall fuck Im getting a beating today I mean it not like it's the first time
I was snapped out of my thoughts by a hard slap and my hair being pulled "SORRY? YOU FUCKEN SLUT YOU 30 MINUTES LATE CAN YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT" my step dad yelled at me while punching and kicking me "i- i- I'm s-sorry p-please i D-didnt mean t-to sir"
Was all I managed to get out of my mouth my ribs hurt like a bitch "YOU PATHETIC WHORE YOU CAN EVEN GET A FUCKEN SENTENCE OUT WITHOUT S-S-STUTERING" my step dad laughed continuing to kick my ribs, stomach and punching me "alright hunny this this has school finish when she's back" my so called mom says staring at me in disgust Mike stopped and walked away saying "pathetic whore"
I didn't even feel like going im invisible at school but that's not a bad thing at least not to me I limp to the school which was luckily on 15 minutes away
Shit I was late I got to school and I had math class it was the middle of the class so I knew if I went in everyone would look at me I peeked threw the door window thing and fuck my life it was a supply teacher I pulled my hood as far down on my face as I could and took a deep breath right when I opened the door everyone's eyes when on me I could feel there stares "um hello there can we help you" the supply teacher said
Not wanting to talk I shake my head no and just walked to an empty set not even 10 second I heard foot steps I could see the teachers shoes and ofc his dad bod "hey missy I don't know who you think you are but you don't just get to interrupt my class and ignore me so once again who are you, you have to take to hood off it's schoold dress code" he said angerly but I really didn't give 2 flying fucks
"KID WHO ARE YOU WHAT'S YOUR NAME!?" He yelled angerly again I just ignored "fine you don't wanna tell me I'll find out myself" he said I could just feel his hand hovering over my hood about to pull it off but thanks to dark angel I grab his hand before it even touched my hood and twisted making him yell in pain I shoved him away and he fell on a desk "OH YOU LITTLE BIT- BRAT" he yelled and finally I decided to talk "if you don't understand when someone ignores you that's the silent version of fuck off so ill tell you in words bc u don't seem to understand silents Fuck off old hag" I said in my cold voice making everyone gasp and I could see the teachers eyes widen
Just than the principal walked in "wha- anyway Sofia Valentino can I talk to you dear" he said in a gentle voice "Mhmm talk idc if anyone hears" I said still sitting down in my desk "I really don't think you'd want me to say this in front of everyone it's bad news" he said "just say it idc God" I say getting annoyed and at this point everyone was quite wanting to hear
"ok dear alright I'm very sorry to tell you but your mother and step father has been in a very terrible accident and I sorry to say this but neither of them survived it" he said looking at me with a sad look while many gasps were heard "oh- um ok thanks for telling me but question um where will I go I'm only 15 so... " I said emotionless as everyone stared at me like in shock that I didn't care "oh um I got in contact with your oldest brother and he agreed to take you in"
brothers? Now I want this private "can we talk in private" I asked "of course" he said leading the way to his office "have a set" I nod and sat on the chair "so um wdym brother I'm an only child" I asked confused "uh no Ms Valentino I'm afraid not you have 9 older brothers" "NINE?! no this is a mistake I don't have any siblings stop fucken around with me" I said
" um no Ms. Valentino it's not a joke you can go to class in about ten minutes some cops are gonna come to take you to your house to get the things i nod standing up and look at time to see the math has ended 7 minutes ago and english has started 5 minutes ago great I was late "fuck sakes I'm late again" I mumble heading to english class I get there and open the door to see Ms. Karen
"Lovely for you to be joining us Sofia your 7 minutes late would you like to tell us why" fucken bitch im not in the mood for ur ass " uh no I'll pass" I said walking to an empty seat "Oooooo" I heard the class say while laughing pathetic idiots they laugh at everything them laughing made Karen sorry Ms.karen mad and she yelled " QUITE!! did I say go take a seat"
"I really don't care what you say so unless you just wanna sit here chit chatting instead of doing ur job then goodbye bitch go quit I could care less about ur ass there's the door" I said back annoyed the students when absolutely quiet in shock right when she was about to say something to officers came through the door "Hi sorry to bother ur class but by any chance do you have a student named Sofia Valentino?" One officer asked
"Sofia the officers are asking for you" Ms. Karen asked with a bitchy tone "ya no fucken shit dumbass I can see and hear that" I said like is she that stupid I see the officers eyes widen for a second "excuse me thats no wa-" Ms. Karen was cut of my me walking out the class and the officers behind me "good morning Ms. Valentino I'm officer calam and my buddy over here is officer miles" calam said with a smile I stare at him blankly "hi sir and please call me sofia" I said "alright Sofia so we're going to ur house to pick up the things you need and were heading back to the station where we'll be meeting your 3 oldest brother Mr. Emilio"
I nodded and began following behind him I mean I've read A LOT of wattpad storys like this but I never thought I'd actually be living one well i mean most turn out to be mafia but there's no way my brothers are right? Ya I doubt that I mean how how old even are they? what are they like? do they even remember me?
I was snapped out of my thoughts my someone calling my name "MS. SOFIA HELLOOO?" it was calam "oh uh ya ya sorry" I said " hmm ok I've been calling u for the past 5 minutes were here" oh fuck I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't even realize “oh um ok thank you I'll go get my stuff" I said awkwardly getting out the car running into the house the smell of alcohol weed and drugs filled my nose but I quickly ran to my room to get the very small amount of clothes I had and ran back down stairs "ok I'm done" I said "are you sure that's all ur taking" miles said with a brow raised
"oh um t-thats all I have" I said with a small voice embarrassed "oh- it's not a problem ok so shall we get going?" Asked calam I nodded and we headed out and got into the car they shit in the front while I sit in the back with my backpack "how far is the station? " I asked "15 minutes away" calam says I nod mumbling a little thank you a minute later my eyes are feeling very heavy I fight the urge to keep them open but failed
**15 minutes later**
"Ms. Sofia wake up we've arrived at the police station" I hear someone say I just up quickly "I'm sorry sir I promise I won't sleep in again" I said quickly but right when I said that I remembered where I was SHIT! "oh uh sorry i just had a nightmare" I play in off "alrighty Sofia come on out we've arrived Mr. Emilo should be here in about 4 minutes" the officer said and I nod getting out of the car and following them inside the station sitting on the bench....
