Authors Note

Honestly, I don't know if anyone is going to read this but I thought it'd be a fun way to spend my free time. This is my first story so please take it easy on me if things don't make sense or whatever (I'm a water sign, I will cry). Like I said in the description, I'm gonna try to keep this as true to the books as possible but ultimately it is an AU so I'll have to change things for them to make sense.

I'm unsure whether I'm bringing back other characters or not yet. Main reason I would want to is because I'm emotionally attached and I think they deserved better (justice for Mad-Eye). But I think ultimately if they don't add anything to this story I probably won't. Idk let me know what y'all think.

I would like to note that I keep the description of our main character limited. This is done on purpose so everyone can imagine who they want and how they want her to look like!

The only new character I plan on introducing is Thomas Ollivander. He is the grandson of Garrick Ollivander. Thomas was sent to the wand shop to help his grandfather and keep an eye on him until things went back to normal after the war. He went to Hogwarts, was a Ravenclaw, and graduated in '95.

I'm also going to have one of Fleur Delacour's cousins in this story. From what I remember there wasn't a name or description for her from the books, so I'm just going to name her Genevieve Delacour. She will be a year younger than the twins, one year older than our main character. She's part Veela like Fleur, therefore has similar physical features.

I'm not 100% sure where this story is going to go, I have some ideas but I'm open to suggestions! As far as content goes, there will be drinking/alcohol use, partying, discussion of mental illness, flashbacks to traumatic events, things like that. I don't think it'll be too intense but I'll have my "proof reader" let me know if chapters need any TW.

Let's talk smut. I know I will not be able to write any smut worth reading so I'm not even going to try. So sorry but it's probably for the best that I stick to fade to black scenes.

Lastly, I am not from the UK, I don't know British slang or words y'all use. I apologize in advance if I sound super American. If you nicely let me know I've made a mistake, I will happily go back and edit things! If you're mean about it I'll leave it as is just to keep annoying people.
