Finishing her speech Della waved and smiled before saying thank you and walking off the stage
She felt the cameras on her but she just smiled while going back to her table with Theo, Catalina, Nova, Daniel, and Austin. When she got back go the table and sat down Austin gave her a kiss on the cheek while holding her hand
They stayed and chatted with lots of people for a few more hours
But after the banquet was over her and austin were walking with Lina and Nova when they were told the news
Neither of them were sad of hurt. They knew the story between della and her mother. She treated her so awful
So all the two girls did was give their best friend a hug. But then they asked how she passed
And so Della told them. Now austin was right there listening to the conversation as his girlfriend literally didn't careZ What he didn't know is how her mother passed. He was shocked
"Well she was sick, she had some type of cancer but she wouldn't tell me. And uh she wouldn't do any treatment so Amela wouldn't find out. She had me take care of her because she said she didn't love me and knew how bad this would affect my sister slash her only daughter."
Della got done speaking and held a blank look on her face. Her tone of voice didn't even sound sad, it was monotone
But Catalina and Nova were both shocked. They had no idea her mother was sick, but they couldn't believe the woman thought like that
To be honest both girls loved the twins equally but they definitely had a soft spot for Della because she's always been so neglected
Yet just a foot away a certain someone was standing there fuming. Amela had no idea and was kept away from all this
And Della did nothing to help her mother. How could she even live with herself? He was absolutely pissed. For her sister and her mother
Austin started walking away and went to go get in his car. By the long fast strides her was taking you could just tell he was upset
Which did not go unnoticed by the three girls. And so they spoke amongst themselves but in order to not be heard they spoke in Yourba
See yourba was Dellas official languages. And the girls had made it a goal to speak everyone else's language, which is why they could speak yourba
"della omo, o dabi inu." Catalina said lowly as she gave austin a side eye ( della baby, he's looks upset )
The girl sighed and closed her eyes for a quick second "mo mo. Mo kan ro pe koko yii le fun u ati pe ko loye awọn ikunsinu mi lori rẹ. Emi yoo lọ hoke ki o ba a sọrọ."

Her friends nodded and gave a big long hug before switching to english "Ok well we love you and we're gonna go talk to Amela ok."
Nova gave the girl a soft smile and rubbed her shoulder. Then her and the tall brunette walked and left Della alone
She went to Austin's car and immediately felt the tension in the air. He didn't say anything and neither did she
The entire car ride home was silent, with austin clenching his jaw
