okay so I was watching a video and in the comments there were a bunch of comments about how

"JAKE BROKE JANES HEART HES A HEARTLESS MONSTER D:<"

and I facepalmed so hard

Jake didn't break her heart.

it's more of Jane broke her own heart.

Jake himself asked if Jane liked him and she started doing all she could to deny it so he naturally thought she really didn't like him due to him not having experience with relationships and he's a bit naive and dense, he's not good at communication when it comes to romance. Jane broke her own heart accidentally.

Please get your facts correct.
