I slowly opened my eye, greeted by the sight of the sun peaking through the blinds. I rolled over and was greeted by all the decoration I put up when I was 16, all the rock posters, the signed shit from different groups and a bunch of other junk that meant so much to me at 16. The most important thing though I had at the time was a framed photograph that sat on my night stand, it was of Opie and I, at my 16th birthday party. I was looking like Luann almost, except not as old, maybe I looked more like one of her girls. It wasn't the short, low cut, lace purple dress I was wearing that made me love the photo so much, but the handsome young man with short brown hair and hazel eyes that were glimmering as we smiled together.

I remembered Jax running up, being his typical, annoying brotherly self and screaming, "Hey you love birds, be safe.", and then snapped the picture as we laughed at the very thought of us dating. However later that night as most of our father's friends passed out drunk, face first in Luann's friends, or leaving like my father and Gemma did to continue the party elsewhere, the three teens were left at the club, Piney kicked all the other teens out, telling them to get out or he would call Unser. Jax had passed out in his king sized bed in his dorm, while Opie and myself stole a pack of cigarettes from Gemma's secret stash. While we chain smoked the pack we laughed as the smoke filled the chilly air, it couldn't be less than 50 degrees out but to the residents of Charming it was the temperature you wear a sweater and jacket in, not a short, slutty dress you borrowed from your step mom's best friend. I shivered a bit at about the 3rd cigarette I burned through, which caused Opie to drape his muscular arm hidden behind a long sleeve shirt over my delicate, exposed shoulders. Even though it didn't quite make me warmer it felt nice and about after 5 minutes of silence in this position he finally whispered, "Hey Grace?"

"Yes Harry?" I replied back as I looked up at his annoyed face. I knew he hated when I called him Harry just like I hated when he called me Grace.

"Fine, I guess I won't tell you then." he said, now exaggerating the look of hurt and avoiding eye contact with me.

"Oh Opie, please, please tell me. I promise that the H word will not cross my lips for the rest of the night if you do."

"Well then here you go... I have a secret."

"Well what kind of secret?"

"A secret about a girl." He replied flashing me his goofy smile.

"This seems like more of a conversation needed between two male best friends not the gentle giant and the redhead who is barely dressed."

"But that is the glory of it, this is the perfect conversation for us. Because that girl is that very redhead you mentioned."

"So Jax was right, we are love birds?" I asked, not believing that the guy I had a crush on since I was 13 was saying he had a similar crush on me.

"Well that depends, do you like me back?" With that I pressed my dark red lips onto his lips, he kissed me back and then we separated after about two minutes. My head once again finding his chest to rest on, as he held me close under his protective arm. We then retreated to his dorm, where I changed into his oversized Harley Davidson shirt and he in his checkered boxers and we just cuddled for the rest of the night. We had a great three year relationship, he and I, and then I ruined it.

"Tara you have to help me, just this once, I will look past the fact that you were fucking my step brother, and ask you to get me out of Charming."

"Why? Why do you want out, I mean you have a great life here, you can handle the club, have a nice job helping Luann with assistant managing, and have the most..."
