[Third Person POV]

Patrick sat scrolling through texts on his phone. He was in his parent's car, having been brought along to a family event that he didn't care about. He seemed to pause as he trailed along some texts from Henry, basically venting to him about not feeling as real as he thought and thinking he was dying. He started reading through it quietly, just staring at Henry's texts every time he responded. He sorta jumped from a knock on the window and looked over, pausing from seeing his mother gesturing to the front. He paused at the realization and quickly climbed over, unlocking the door for her.

"Sorry," he huffed as he sat back in his seat.

"It's alright. How was scrolling for you?" She asked, showing she obviously saw what he was doing.

"It was alright. Are we going home now?"

"Yep. Do you wanna stop by anywhere before we do?"

"No, let's just go. I wanna get back to my friends."

He was itching to just say Henry.

"Alright," she giggled softly.

Patrick got out of the car, looking around quietly. He was curious to what Henry was doing with Victor and Belch while he was gone.

"You can go find your friends," his mother chirped. Patrick looked at her and nodded, hurrying away from the car and down to the JunkYard since that's where they usually went to hang out. He looked around, listening for Victor or Belch to be talking really loud so he could get to them at least. He could not hear much, getting a bit worried from that.

"Pat?"

Patrick looked over from the familiar voice to see Henry near a car, having climbed out of it. Patrick walked to him instantly, smiling.

"Hey."

"Hi. When did you get back?" Henry asked, watching him.

"Just like a minute ago. I instantly came down here."

Henry nodded, just watching him.

"Is something up?" He snickered. Henry shook his head.

"Why would there be?"

"Hm. Well, where's Vic and Belch?"

Henry stared at him before glancing away.

"I dunno. Haven't seen them since yesterday. Maybe they got sick or something popped up. Like what you were doing."

Patrick examined him. He knew Henry would not talk like that. But, that meant alone time if they were gone, so he nodded.

"Alright. Wanna do something?"

"Uhm. We can sit around and talk I guess? I don't have anything in mind."

"Not even fucking with the losers?" He snickered, walking over to a car and sitting on the hood of it. Henry followed, sitting next to him.

"No. Not even that. Seeing as neither of us can drive. And Belch wouldn't be happy to see his car stolen."

"How sad," Patrick mocked. He looked at Henry from gazing off at the forest. "How was being alone?"

"Eh. My dad threw something at me while I was leaving. I should probably get back since he's waiting."

"What? I just got here."

"And I'm gonna get my ass beat for no reason."

Patrick stared at him, an idea popping in his disturbed mind.
