Faint sounds of footsteps was heard from behind him and as he turned to see, a women and she seems familiar to him but he doesn't know why, eyebrows scrunched slowly blinking with the sudden hit of deja vu. Suddenly it's like his legs and feet have a mind of their own dragging him away from the edge of the cliff as flashes of lights hit his eyes but he doesn't flinch or even blink it was like he was in a trance, hypnotized even.
Her long blonde hair dancing with the wind with her blue eyes watched his every move, her dark pale red lips carved up into a caring smile. Her face scattered with droplets of water but they weren't sliding down it was like they were frozen in time. They almost looked fake and for a moment he thought they were, he stopped, he didn't even notice, only five feet apart. He blinked laying the water from his eyelashes run down his cheeks all the way down his neck, it burned, it had left marks on his skin, it hurt but he couldn't let out a sound as it happened for some reason he couldn't open his mouth , it scared him.
She moved, closer and with every step she took it was like his vision was clearing up, and he could finally see her clearly now, her features, her scars, her beauty marks, it was familiar, she felt familiar like he had seen her before. Her hands moved to cradle his face and it felt like his body heat had cooled almost instantly, he let out a soft huff of breath, her hands moved to his eyebrows and slowly but softly moved to close his eyes slightly running across his eyelashes. She then moved her fingers to the stinging red marks that were left behind, lightly traveling along all the way to where it stops.
His eyes fluttered open blinking a few times along with it, a songs instrumental he didn't know the name of came it was heavenly like the women standing in front of him was.
His eyes found hers as her hands now rest on each side of his neck, her smile was big and seeing the smile on her face made Colby smile and when he did the music faded, all the sound faded from his ears, the ocean hitting the cliff was no more. He was somewhere different now an old abandoned building he didn't recognize, it was beautiful it looked freshly built with all the trees and vines over growing the building. He looked back to the blonde women, her eyes were still on him as well as her hands, he slowly but was hesitant he moved his hands from his sides and made his way to her waist then settled them there.
Her smile now not as big but soft and visible, she blinked, then slightly opened her mouth to speak, her voice was smooth as she spoke. "I'll see you soon Colby" he let out a breath liking the was she said his name.
"And I'll be looking forward to it but right now" she let out a soft huff of breath as her head tilted slightly to the left looking into his blue eyes, her hands going from his neck back to cradle his face, the building wasn't there anymore they were back to where he started by the edge of the cliff.
"It's time for you to wake up" as soon as the words left her mouth, her hands quickly moved to his chest and before he knew it, he was falling off the cliff, she pushed him.
And thats when he felt it, his body colliding with the water as everything around his disappeared.
