Shinobu walked down the halls of the butterfly mansion, it was 3 o'clock in the morning but she had been woken up by the feeling of bile in her throat. She tried to make it to the bathroom, and was trying to be quiet so as not to wake anyone up, but..
"Nonononono..!" She thought, suddenly dropping to her knees, she felt the food she had eaten that day coming up her throat and threw up all over the floor. Tears filled her eyes as her throat burned and she gagged again, throwing up more.
Tanjiro hadn't been asleep, he wasn't tired at all, so he stayed up staring at the ceiling trying to fall asleep when he suddenly picked up the scent of vomit.
He got up and began walking to see if anyone was unwell, and found shinobu, out of instinct he ran over and began rubbing light circles on her back.
"T-T-Tanji-ro.. d-did I wake you u-up..? I-I'm s-sor-" she couldn't finish her sentence as more disgusting liquid demanded to be let out, she threw up again as Tanjiro comforted her.
"No no, I wasn't asleep, it's okay, just let it all out for now, okay?" He said. She didn't need to be told that. She heaved again as she threw up what was left, tears streaming down her face.
Kanao, who's room was at the other end of the hallway, had been woken up by the commotion and went to see what was going on. Her eyes widened as she realised her master was sick and she ran to get Aoi, who returned with a bucket for Shinobu and towel to clean the floor.
Kanao led shinobu back to her room, by then she was already really stressed and had ended up regressing.
"S-Swissy... n-nwo.. fweel.. gwood-" she covered her mouth as kanao held the bucket to her and she began throwing up again.
"Shhh... it's okay little one, sissy' right here.." she wiped shinobu's mouth with a handkerchief and laid her little down, handing her her stuffed ladybug and a pacifier, before she lay down with her and pulled the blankets over them.
"S-Swissy, g-gon get s-sicky..."
"Shh, it's okay butterfly, sissy wants to stay with you incase you are sick again."
Shinobu buried her face into Kanao's chest before drifting off to sleep.
