Chapter 2-Shifting

Emily pov

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and left the park house through the back door so no one will notice me. They didn't even remember my birthday nor my shifting so maybe they won't even notice me sneaking out of the park house so I went towards the water fall deep inside the forest.

This is the place where I find peace. The water is blue I mean really blue and it shone under the moonlight and it's really pretty and calming I always love coming here but mostly at night but this is the last night I will be spending my time here.

I can't believe a place like this exists in this disgusting place of a park where self respect is thrown out the window like it's trash. It hurts because no one actually cares about people who aren't part of the park and speaking of hurt my body is hurting like hell oh my gosh it's like I wanna die .

My bones were breaking at least that's what I will say because it seems as if I'm dying or someone is ripping out my bones . Tears came gushing out from my eyes,my vision became blurry cus I can't see anything at all and it's killing me

Moon Goddess why me please let this end omg I'm suffocating it feels like I can't breathe and my brain stopped working this isn't what the other werewolves explained it feels like( I'm not friends with anyone but I heard some teenagers who shifted already telling the young ones).White fur started coming out from my body(took it long enough)my fingers started changing and claws started coming out from my feet and it feels like all my fingers are being pulled out

I bit my lips to hold out the screams threatening to come out because I can't alert the guards on patrol at this moment. My body started changing and my spinal cord feels like it's being ripped away from my body.

It feels like hell,I think death should be better than this , and I never want to experience anything like this ever again in my life cus I feel like I won't be able to handle it the second time. How do people endure being tortured when their fingers is being pulled out.

And while thinking I finally transformed. Took my wolf long enough. I walked over to the waterfall to take a look at my self and what I saw shocked the living daylight out of me.

There I stood looking at myself when I voice spoke in my head "hey" I jumped before I calmed down to process everything and the voice spoke again " hey I'm your lycan my name is Lisa" she said.wait before you think yea I was shocked because I'm a lycan like how is this even possible I'm supposed to be a werewolf.

" no you are not" Lisa said

" but how I mean I— I am a wolf not a lycan" I stammered

" well the only possible way is if you are a descendant of a lycan"

"But I'm pretty sure my parents are werewolves from the vague memories in my head"

"Well I'm a lycan Emily"

" I can see that" I said rolling my eyes

" well if you can then stop questioning me being a lycan" Lisa replied rolling my eyes

" stupid lycan" I muttered

"I can hear you,you know that right"  Lisa said

" it was meant for you to hear" I replied sarcastically

" I just showed myself and you my human is not being nice here" she said

I didn't reply but kept admiring my features in the lake. I have white fur, my nose a touch of blue and half my tail is color blue the my paws and tip of my ears are blue my eyes are mixture of blue and white( blue at the middle with white surrounding it). " we are beautiful" I said

"No no baby girl I am beautiful" Lisa said grinning ear to ear

"Duhhh excuse me time to change young woman" I said

"Huh let's go for a run"Lisa said whinny

"Fine but run on four paws not two so as to not draw attention okay?"

"Okay"

And with that we started running around the forest careful to not alert the damn guards on patrol ( I don't like any park members) Lisa was free and I'll say she is pretty fast and all that and I could feel all my five senses improving. I saw a short and a large shirt
hanging on a tree and took it so I can change when I shift( the shirt has a stinky smell I can only guess it belongs to one of the guards).

Lisa started running back to the water fall and I will say she is one hell of a fast runner. Haven't seen any one as fast as her as far as my memory is concerned. We got to the lake in a matter of few seconds and I changed. It feels good to be able to shift for the first time and take a run but it's hurst like you are close to the gate of hell waiting to be called so you can enter and step into fire where you will be burned forever. Just the thought of it makes me shiver.

I sneaked back into the park house and went to my room and there my time said one in the morning and we are living by 8 am.

I quickly jumped on the one person mattress that could barely contain my body and fell asleep without forgetting to change the smelling clothes I'm wearing and throwing it out the window to wards the trash part so no one will know it's me who too the shirt and also not forgetting to set my trash alarm clock to 6:30 am so I can pack early as I don't have much clothes to pack anyway.

Third person pov
Emily fell asleep quickly out of exhaustion because she was drained out and her body is frail and weak but not anymore because she got Lisa who is there to back her up and fight beside her. Now Lisa got just one task and that is to find her mate so he will also stand beside Emily and fight for her,love her and cherish her like a queen because that's what mates are for and forever will be.
