{ON HOLD} Slumber Party Disaster

Our Date

NATSU POV

"Well you see. . ." She started

I began to feel really nervous. My heart started racing. My palms were feeling all sweaty. I began noticing every single detail about her.

The way she smelt, the way she bit her lips oh so desirably. The way she moved when she was nervous. Everything was all clear to me, and that made it even harder to resist my urge.

I don't know what is coming over me, I've never felt like this before. I bet it's because I'm tired or something. Yeah, that's got to be it.

"I was wondering if you want to go out with me" she asked

"I. . . Uh. . . Yes" I mustered out

"Yes! That's great" Lucy said so excitedly

We planned everything out and she parted her way. So does us going out mean that we are dating? It has to right, or is it just over after this one date. Ugh! This is why relationships are so difficult to me!

I walk back inside and first punch Loke in the arm. Then I tell him everything that happened. He congratulated me and I sat there blushing. Our date was going to be tomorrow and the newly opened amusement park. I couldn't wait to eat all the different kinds of foods there.

I'm not a huge fan of moving vehicles but it's what Lucy wanted to do. I couldn't just say no to her. After all the nervousness she went through. Hopefully she doesn't like to go on roller coasters?

~NEXT DAY~

I arrived at the amusement park ten minutes early. Which was a surprise for me because I'm never early. Especially when meeting a girl. So how come today is different. I should go home and wait at least 20 minutes and then come back.

I didn't want to seem like I was desperate. Which I am not I just wanted to see what kinds of foods there were. Yeah, that's what I wanted to do. I was just about to turn around when I heard someone calling my name.

I turned to see Lucy running towards me with the biggest smile on her face. She had her long blonde hair in a high ponytail. She was wearing a light pink tank top, with a blue mini skirt and some sandals.

"Sorry I'm late, Chris just wouldn't let me leave the house" she chuckled

Wait, who is this Chris person? Was he a guy, was it Lucy's boyfriend. Was she cheating on Chris with me? Or is it the other way around. I don't know why, but this made me furious. Why was a guy at her house? Or what if she was at the guys's house!

I wanted to ask her about it but she pulled me into the park. We went walking around and playing at the stands. I won her a couple of stuff animals. We stopped by a food stand while walking.

We were talking to each other when someone calls Lucy's name. She looks back and instantly runs towards the person. She is greeted by a huge hug, most importantly by a guy. I step out of line and walk up to her.

The guy sees me and smiles. He goes to shake my hand. I hesitate for a second before shaking his hand. I plant a fake smile on my face.

"Hi my name is Jeffery" he says in an Australian accent

"I'm Natsu" I greet

"Natsu this is one of my family friends. I haven't seen him in such a long time" Lucy squeals with excitement

As that happens Jeffery puts and arm around Lucy's waist. Lucy puts both arms around his waist and squeezes tightly.

"Can you excuse me for a second" I say as I walk away

LUCY POV

Natsu walks away with anger in his eyes. My cell phone beeps and I take it out. It was a text from Mira:

Great work, he is totally jealous right now! You have such good acting skills

Me:
Thanks, but I don't think it's right to deceive him like this

Mira:
Oh stop being a baby! This is for my sake so don't screw this up!

Me:
Isn't this supposed to be for my sake? I mean this is my love life we are talking about?

Mira:
Oh shut your yap will you! Look here he comes act all lovey dovey with Jeffery

With that I end the conversation. I look at Jeffery and sigh. He smiles and chuckles.

"What's so funny" I ask

"Seeing you frustrated like that is kinda adorable" he smiles as I blush

"W-W-Whatever, anyways I'm sorry you got dragged into this" I say "this wasn't my idea I am a victim here"

"Hey don't sweat it, at least I'm having fun right?" He says as he pets my head, making me blush even more

Natsu comes back with the same look on his eye. I wonder what crawled under his skin. someone must of pissed him off this morning. He plants a smile on his face which I know is fake.

We start talking for about 15 minutes until Jeffery says something.

"Hey Lucy, I got to go but I will meet you at your house later okay" he asks as he plants a kiss on my forehead

I nod and smile as he leaves. I wave goodbye until we couldn't see each other anymore.

"I'm sorry that happened on our date, to make it up to you how about I win you a stuffed animal" I ask as I see Natsu pissed off and relived at the same time

He slightly smiles and nods at me. We walk next to each other as I try to find a game I could play. He points out a game all the way at the end of the park.
He rushes over there and stares at an animal in awe. It was a huge blue car with a green book bag on its back.

"I'll name it Happy #2" he says happily

I pay the person at the stand for three balls to play. I had to knock down the moving targets. I started throwing but I missed all of them. Natsu chuckled, he bought another round and handed it to me.

After about five tries I finally got him the stuffed animal. I was so happy I jumped up and hugged him. He returned my hug back. Without breaking away I looked up to him and smiled. I saw his captivating onyx eyes.

They pierced a hole through me. His look was so intoxicating. We stayed staring at each other for what seemed like hours. My breath quickened and my heart beaded fast. We both slowly leaned into each other. We were inches away when his cell phone started ringing.

I snapped back into reality and broke the hug. I was completely flushed my heart neared faster then it was before. I was so embarrassed. We should end the date here. it's getting late anyways, and I had to get home.

Natsu finished his phone call and faced me. Things were at an awkward silence between us.

"Hey it was really fun today, but I have to get back home so bye" I said as I turn around

I turn back and face him one last time.

"And just so you know, this was just a one time thing"

With that I ran and left the amusement park. Things started feeling uneasy for me.
