August when it started.

Rustling of papers can be heard. Scratching sound of a pen that is writting on a sheet of paper, the summer breeze blows towards her, making her immediately catch the paper that was about to fall.

She sighed "that was close" while catching the paper. She looked at her homeworks sprawled across the table.

"This is going to take A LOT of time"
She sighed again.

She continued on writting answers on her activity paper. Eventually the ones that she is currently answering is Math, which is for her, dreadful.

The sound of foot steps can be heard coming closer to where she is. Distracted by the sound, she lifted up her head and look at the person who arrived.

And damn.

AND GOD DAAAAAMNN

"HOLY FRIES!" her mind screamed, when the very person that caught her attention approaches.

"How are you doing Maia?" He said, smiling oh so attractively, eyes glinting with pure genuine intentions of curiosity.

"Woah... Wtf.. Scince when did he got so handsome like this!!" Her mind screamed, confused on the fact that she finds him well...attractive.

Her heart suddenly pounds when he got nearer. For some reason it almost felt like everything was in slow motion when he approaches with those genuine smile.

The way he smiled, the way his eyes looked at her own and the way he talked to her. It made her feel some things that made her confused deep Inside.

The tingling on her stomach, the way her chest swell with warmness when he approached nearer which she immediately brushed off for a cause that made her annoyed and uncomfortable.

She quickley averted her eyes from him finding a sudden interest on her schoolworks, picking up the pen in the process so she could distract herself with other things than facing this very stunning guy which sits near her.

"I'm doing fine actually.... " she shyly replied, starting to feel warmness creeping up from her neck to her face.

"Hmmmm.. Is that so..? " he said, curiously looking and scanning her things that is scattered on the table.

"Doing your homework I see? " he asked again, skimming through the scattered papers.

"Yeah..? Don't you have ones too? " she replied, suddenly feeling warm which made her confused and uncomfortable.

"Yeah.. I have.." He replied while he puts his attention on his phone, scrolling through something which she wouldn't know.

"But I already finished mine earlier. " he continued still scrolling on his phone making him look uninterested on what....? Well who cares.. She'll never know anyway.

"Oh I see... " she continued reading.

For some reason she kept reading the same sentence over and over again. It was probably from feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed at the same time.

Like who wouldn't be!? She's literally sitting next to this attractive guy! The very guy that most of the girls like in their school, even those people from other school knows him.

Though he's only a few inches away from her..

The silence of awkwardness filled the air, making her feel uncomfortable.
Squirming a little to find the right position to sit, she continued reading her answer on her homework double checking it, even though she keeps checking it again and again without her noticing.

From her peripheral vision, she can see him and somehow she wished that he would go away.

And that wish somehow came true.

While taking a glimpse of him, she saw him move, readying himself to get up and leave.

Putting his phone back into his pocket, he turned his attention to her "I'll get going now, Maia" he suddenly said.

Averting her attention from her schoolwork to him "uh.. Yeah " she just replied awkwardly, feeling relieved and smiled awkwardly at him.

He just smiled at her for a final bid of farewell and left, leaving her stoned at her place trying hard not to lose herself in front of him.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!? " her mind screamed, having internal crisis happening inside.

She continued watching his back while he went on his way, stopping by some people he knows to talk.

"How weird" she whispered to herself frowning, already calmed down from what in the world happened earlier.

Thinking about what happened earlier and those feelings that she felt, she frowned again.

She finally sighed, giving up thinking about that weird encounter and shrugged it off, continuing doing her schoolwork as if nothing happened earlier.
