Wait what?!

Y/n's POV
I wake up from my slumber and I hear a knock on my door "Hello Princess your father want's to speak to you and your siblings right away" The head maid Alice "Oh ok thank you Alice" I say as I walk to my closet and I change into a pair of sweatpants and a long sleeve.

I walk to Niki's room and tell her what Alice told me "Oh ok let's get Karl so we can talk to dad" She says with a smile and we leave her room and go to Karls. Niki knocks on his door and he opens it confused "Hey guys what's up?" he asks as he puts his shirt on "Well.." I explain that Dad wants to see us "Ok let's go" He says as he gently takes our hands and he brings us to Dad's office. We get there and a guard is standing in front of it "Hey um King Philza" Karl says kinda nervous "Yes your highnesses" the guard says as he opens the door and we see our father sitting on his chair "Hello children how are you three?" he asks as he stands up and comes towards us. "We're good Dad" Niki says 'I'm the oldest out of all three of us then it's Karl then Niki...It's kinda weird being the oldest it means when my parents are both gone I have to take over and then I've got to find a husband... I'm not looking forward to that' I think myself. I look at Dad with a smile "So Dad what's this meeting about?" I ask him then I hear a sigh "Well as you three know Wilber your cousin his wife died a few weeks ago...and he just found out someone killed her..." he says in a sad tone "What does that mean Dad?" Karl asks in a worried tone "It means someone is killing the royals... I also just received a letter from Wilber and he wrote that someone late last night tried to kill Fundy his son" Dad says in a serious tone "Wait what someone tried to kill Fundy?" Niki asks with a worried expression I gently grab her hand with my left and with my right I gently grab Karls "Yes sweetie they did" He says "S-so what does this mean?" I ask slightly scared "Kids follow me" Dad says as he leads us out of his office and towards the throneroom "Dad why are we in the throneroom?" I ask confused "Well Y/n I know one of you guys is going to hate me for a while but I'm doing what is necessary to protect you..." He says as he nods at the guards behind us. The three of us turn around with confused faces "Kids meet your personal guards...Dream, George, and Sapnap" Dad says as the three guys walk in front of us. I start to get a bit angry then "Niki George is your personal guard, Karl Sapnap is your personal guard, and Y/n Dream is your personal guard..." Dad says with a stern voice "What!!" I say in a very angry tone "No I don't accept it!" I say to him and I start to walk away "Y/n I know your upset but this is how it has to be just for now.." Dad says in a soft tone. I start to slowly cry but I don't look back "No...." I say as I continue to walk and head straight to my room and I slam the door.

Niki's POV 
I see as Y/n leaves that she's started to shake and I could hear it in her voice that she's very upset "Dream please go up to her room and stand guard..."Dad says to the one with green acents named Dream and he nods as he goes upstairs and to her room...."Dad give her sometime she's going to be Queen soon and she doesn't like to be followed when she needs to be alone" I say trying to get him to understand 'when Karl and I were born Dad would never pay Y/n any attention exspecly when she was born...only Mom would be there for her when she cryed or if she needed a hug....but since Mom died she's been distent and she manly ether stays in her room or in the courtyard training...Karl and I try to talk to her but no matter how hard we try she just doesn't talk to us...I just want to help her' I think to my self as Dad trys to explain to me 'why she just needs to accept it' "Ok Dad" I say to his as I turn around to the other guards "So which one of you is George?" I ask they both look at me and the one with blue acents walks towards me and gives me a small smile "Hi I'm George Princess Niki.." He says as he bows "Oh just call me Niki" I say as I give him a smile back. He looks up at me and nods "So where to Niki?" he asks "Oh um I want to tell the other guard something....Dream was his name?" I ask as the two of us walk up the stair to where our rooms are. "Yes his name is Dream what would you like to tell him?" George asks "Well I want to tell him a bit about Y/n and that she's not going to be very kind to him at first but hopefully soon she opens up to him..." I say in a somewhat sad tone as we walk down the hall "Why did you say that in a sad tone?" He asks slightly concerned "Oh I'll tell you a bit more when we go to my room" I tell him and he nods back and we get to my door "Um George can you go into my room please I want to tell Dream something" I say with a smile "Yes of course Niki" George says as he walks inside my room and closes the door. "You wanted to talk to me Princess?" Dream asks "Oh Dream just call me Niki and I wanted to tell you a but about Y/n...."
