A/N:  Before you start this one-shot, here is some helpful information regarding it.  This one-shot is an omegaverse!  Thus meaning there are secondary genders.  Izuku is an omega, while Shouto is an alpha.  Omegas no matter the primary gender have the ability to conceive and give birth to a child.

The art that is shown above is mine!

{ Izuku's POV  }

"Good job Izuku, you're almost there.."

Pain surged through my body, making it feel as if I was being ripped apart from the inside.  Sweat dripped down my face, and my eyebrows pinched together tightly, as I pushed once again.  I let out a high-pitched groan as I felt pain burn my lower area, tears endlessly cascading down my face.

"Great job!  Give us one more big push!" One of the doctors yelled.

I breathed in sharply, feeling the need to push again.  My grip tightened on Shoto's hand, and I pushed to the best of my ability through my fatigued state.  My eyes squeezed shut, and my expression contorted from pain, as a felt something large slide out of me.

 Exhausted, I let my body fall back onto the bed, eyes desperately wanting to shut.  I could barely hear anyone's voice through all the chaos, but I could clearly hear the wailing of a newborn child...

"Congratulations Midoriya!  It's a baby boy!"

The next thing I knew, there was a small weight on my chest and the quieting fussing of a baby.  I look down and see my newborn son, hungrily suckling on my nipple, breastfeeding for the first time.

Tears slipped down my face, as I caressed his tiny body, "M-my baby, my baby boy.."

{ Shoto's POV  }

The second that our baby cried for the very first time, my entire world stopped.  Until that moment, it felt like everything had been moving so fast I couldn't keep up.  It feels like just a few days ago Izuku had announced to me that we were going to be welcoming a child into the world, and now here our little boy is taking his first breaths.

Tears were gushing from Izuku's eyes, and he wasn't the only one.  I hadn't realized it but, tears began to streak down my face, and fall onto the hospital bed I leaned over.  It's odd.  I can't remember the last time I cried.  But in this instant, I can't help it.

Bending forward, I plant a gentle kiss on Izuku's temple, not daring to take my eyes off my ever-growing family, fearing that if I did everything would disappear.

After checking the baby's vitals, the nurse exits the room, leaving me, Izuku, and our child alone together.

It must have been around ten minutes before either of us spoke a word, too focused on the little life that had just been brought into the world.

Suddenly, Izuku's voice broke the silence, "Do you want to hold him?"

Swallowing the lump in my throat, I look into Izuku's beautiful viridian eyes, before gently speaking, "Yes."

Izuku carefully lifts up the baby, placing him in my arms.  He faintly begins to fuss once placed in my arms, squirming in his blanket, little hands pressing against his face.  I delicately swaddle him back and forth, lulling him back to sleep.  His whines gradually reduced to tiny coos as he again falls back into slumber.

This is the first time I can really get a good look at him, soaking in every detail of my new son.  His semi-messy hair is primarily white, besides a small tuft of green in the front, his duel-colored eyes, similar to my own, yet his are green and blue, and his tiny nose is complemented by a light array of freckles littered throughout his face... He's perfect.

Izuku's tiredness doesn't hold back his loving expression as he observes our baby happily snuggled into my arms.  I looked down once again relishing the moment, and planting a small peck on the baby's forehead.

After a few more minutes of this, I give him back to Izuku who immediately takes him into his arms.

Soon after, the nurses return to the room to clothe and weigh our baby, which he obviously doesn't enjoy because he begins to cry.  Izuku seems nervous despite being told our child is healthy.  The sour smell of distress begins to seep from his scent glands.

I take his hand in my own, giving it a gentle squeeze, "It'll be okay."

Eyes still glued to our wailing baby, Izuku gives a light nod.

The nurse finishes, laying our child on Izuku's chest.

She speaks up, "From what I can tell, this little prince is perfectly healthy!  He's just a little bit underweight, but that is likely due to his premature birth."

It's true.  Izuku's water broke four weeks earlier than anticipated.

"I'll leave you three to yourselves," and with that, the nurse exited the room.

{ Third POV }

Clutching their sleeping newborn in his arms, Izuku spoke, "Sho?"

Looking towards Izuku, Shoto responded, "Hm?"

"W-what are we going to name him?"

Shoto pondered on the statement.  As Izuku's pregnancy progressed, the couple had thought of a few names for their growing child however, now seeing him he realized none of the names suited their bundle of joy, "None of the names we had chosen seem to fit him well..."

Izuku hummed, agreeing with Shoto's statement.  What would they name their child?

It was no secret that both Shoto and Izuku had difficult childhoods.  Childhoods they promised their baby would never have to endure.  The moment that they first saw their son, all of that pain faded away.  Their child had shown light into their world, like that of the sun onto the earth.

"Taiyo."  Izuku crooned lovingly.

Shoto tilted his head, confused for a moment, though suddenly understanding, "Our Taiyo, the light of our world."

Taiyo Midoriya

Date of Birth: Jan. 09

Parents :

Izuku Midoriya (father) - Shoto Todoroki (father)

Eye Color: Blue/Green

Weight: 5 lbs 5 oz

Some of you may be wondering why I choose to use the last name Midoriya instead of Todoroki.  Well, that's because once Shoto had met Izuku, he was filled with overwhelming happiness.  To him, Izuku had given him that happiness, and he wanted their child to take on the last name Midoriya.

I will likely write other one-shots that include Taiyo.
