He was nice
But the moment you took my hand and asked me about my rings I forgot about it
He put his hand on my thigh
But the moment you danced with me it didn't matter anymore
He kissed me
But the moment you hugged me and wished me the best I wished it was you taking me home
He liked me
But you giving me hope was enoughHe let me drink his beer, but you let me taste your drink
He held me in his arms for hours
But you hugged me goodbye
He held my hand too
But yours felt warmerYou showed me where the bar was
You knew I don't like beer
